He played a good 75-80 minutes tonight

Good entertaining game, can't really take too much out of it in regards to our formation or set-up when the Euro games get going. ZFA changed the game when he came on, did very well to get us up the park quickly and provided a few decent crosses. Thought A Trialist looked decent, needs a new set of boots though was slipping all over the place. Had a few good wee flicks and touches that weren't read by the other attacker but I can imagine with a few games that would come with any strike partner. Looked strong and was forever hassling defenders, unlucky not to score too. Was 1 on 1 but wasn't able to get the ball out from under his feet, unlucky. If we're able to get him on that season long loan I reckon he'd be worth a punt.

Where has the Hutchinson to Middlesborough chat come from? I don't think Hutch will be going anywhere..

I think there may be more to it than that actually, heard not too long ago he was close to signing an extension. Fingers crossed!

There were other things more obvious last night. How they were constantly springing a counter attack straight from our set pieces being the main concern. Corners and attacking free-kicks were rarely beating the first man which led to United going on the offensive, at that point our right back and quite often our two centre backs were at the absolute opposite end of the field than we'd ideally have them. Law bailed us out a few times last night chasing back, but our set pieces at the moment would be more of a priority than who is captain. On the subject of captains, I pretty much view them as being the guy who does the coin toss and formalities, players should constantly be talking each other through the games, and any natural leaders in the squad should be speaking up and motivating others regardless of who has an armband on.
