    Baraclough Out

Motherwell Football Club has today (Wednesday) parted company with manager, Ian Baraclough. The Board of Directors would like to sincerely thank Ian for his great efforts last season and keeping the club in the SPFL Premiership for this very important season in the Club history, with the 130th anniversary and the 25th anniversary of the 1991 Scottish Cup celebrated at the end of the season. The Board will immediately commence the search for a new manager. In the interim, current Under 20s boss Stephen Craigan, along with Stephen Robinson and Jim Hollman, will handle first-team affairs.

    Well Bois

Yeah been wondering this myself, no drum and just the odd chant but that's about it. After the 180 minutes of chanting against The Rangers there's been absolutely nothing, just some silly wee boys throwing bins around at East Fife..
  4. No, the majority of the trainingwear won't be changing, just a couple of new pieces added to the range.
  5. The £40 was an error, which was fixed after about 20 minutes, they're £45 as was the case last season - we haven't increased the price.
  6. The MEDIA launch is on Friday.
  7. Nonsense. Photoshoot is this afternoon, kits will be online as soon as we get the pics back and edited etc.
  8. Tomorrow late afternoon/early evening
  9. I managed to download 720p HD vids of the game via Torrent Absolutely glorious with the surround sound at full pelt!

Couple of sentences, didn't make too much of an arse of myself. The heckling of Marty and Jays laugh in the background are tremendous.
  11. Unfortunately I don't think it works out financially, think that's why you don't see many clubs doing DVD's these days
  12. Went down for 4 tickets this morning, we got 4 in the same section but all single seats! 4 of us spread across 3 rows!
  13. Yup, seen plenty online saying they've purchased loads for home stands, Main Stand seems to be their preferred choice. It's going to be horrible, can imagine there'll be a few battles on Sunday.
  14. Not a chance we'll sell out, a Champions League fixture is very different from a relegation playoff! We'll more than likely be outnumbered by whoever we play.

  16. Indeed, a total pain in the arse, has been the last couple of weekends and continues over the next couple. All the way through from Lanark to Glasgow. Been led to believe tickets will be sold from Fir Park to start with - any spares being returned to SMFC to be sold from their wee window (since they have the barcode scanners rather than manned turnstiles). Depends on the situation, normally there are plenty of spare seats anyway so folk just sit where they like. It's a bit of a pain when someone comes along and claims "that's ma seat" when there are dozens of empty seats all around them!
  17. Yep, can't disagree with any of that. When you see Ainsworth purposely move into the middle while we're attacking down the right with the sole purpose of hiding behind some Killie players you know you have someone who isn't up for the battle. I've never been so annoyed at any of our players than I was with Ainsworth on Saturday, heading into injury time, ball breaks to him and we have a great chance to get in behind the Killie defence and Ainsworth tried to pass the buck at the earliest possible opportunity, playing an awful pass straight to a Killie defender rather than driving at the Killie left back. Infuriating. He can "play for a contract" all he wants between now and the end of the season but over this season he's not done enough to earn one. Door.
  18. Striker in and I'll be happy with our January activity!
  19. From what I gather Pearson's injury might be something to do with when he was launched into the advertising boards up in Dundee last week!
  20. Streets aren't the greatest around FP but I'm sure they'll be treated in the morning. Mick and Pearson both big doubts for the game tomorrow so who knows what lineup we'll put out!
  21. Pearson looked good in the middle vs Dundee Utd so a left winger who can potentially cover in LB is a good signing. Hopefully it doesn't see Thomas papped back onto the bench for the duration though.
  22. According to Scott Burns: "All sides are keen but deal can't happen until Vigurs is fully fit. He should be fit next week"
  23. A few TV vans outside FP just now.. can't recall seeing many there for previous pressers. Official Twitter also confirmed in reply to eddiemunster they're hoping to make an announcement today (not directly referencing manager or ownership..)
