  1. Klimpl for me. There were a few I could have happily voted for but I just love seeing dirty cheating chunts being booted up in the air by a Claret and Amber avenging angel midfielder. Takes nae shit does oor Maros.

    Marc Reynolds

I'll concede that he benefited from his experience at times but fit? He was breathing out of his arse after 10 minutes. He should have had a snorkel sticking out of his shorts to help him get a breath.

    Vs Falkirk

It was a throw-in. Unfortunately it was just another instance in an inept refereeing performance. That spineless wanker was a disgrace. We had chances, didn't take them and suffered accordingly. The ref and Falkirk seemed intent on spoiling everything today but we should have had the game wrapped up. Falkirk went down in my estimation today, a shower of cloggers. If I was a Bairns fan I'd be worried that Hughes sees this as their only hope. Disappointing.
  4. It might be worth reading through THIS THREAD. It should (hopefully) tell you all you need to know. Hope that helps.

    Falkirk Tickets

The tickets were/are available for one of the three games listed in the letter and you do need Voucher H to claim them.
  6. I'm delighted with a very unexpected (in my eyes) win and stunned by the scoreline. A hectic shift finished just after the game finished and I went home a very happy Dosser. Credit to the lot of them. That's a good point. We should have trounced them in August but they got away with a draw. From a home and away game v Utd, I'd be content with 4 points so all's good I suppose.
  7. It does seem rather generous. It's Motherwell though, so I'm still no touching it.
  8. Bet365 have us (again) at 2/7. HT/FT at 3/4. Motherwell(-1) at 10/11. I'm no touching it.
  9. I've never been keen on the Main Stand. I've watched a few games from there over the years thanks to a mates sister not using her season ticket (though that was mid/late 80's) - better than paying but not as good as the more familiar territory of the Shed/ East Stand. The last game I watched from the Main Stand was a belter though. 'Well v Celtic in the Cup, 1-0 thanks to a Cobra header, literally surrounded by Soapdodgers. Maybe 8-10 'Well fans scattered in front of me in amongst the Great Unwashed - the closest Dosser to me was a mate of mine, two rows in front and about 6 seats to the left. What a great day, especially when we skittled to mhankies around us to celebrate the goal. Please excuse the drunken, nostalgic rambling.
  10. Bet365 had us at 2/7 on Saturday. That seemed to be the best I could find at the time, they don't have the odds for the replay up yet though.
  11. I don't see why to be honest, this (and next) seasons shirts are rotten. Though looking at the list, the colours stand out amongst the other bland shirts (Barcelona's being particularly bad when you see it in full on the telly). EDIT: I may be doing something wrong but it doesn't seem to let me vote.
  12. It was blatently obvious that the 'Well fans were getting to him. After five minutes, you could see that he was trying too hard and therefore more liable to fuck up than normal. Total bell-end. A plague of pox on him.
  13. I've nothing to add, other than... YEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! I love it when we beat that mob.
  14. I went for Gypo Brien. I thought his work rate was great tonight. In the second half when he picked up Coach's header on the touchline, turned his man (whilst practically on his arse) and ran half the length of the pitch (down the middle) before passing it on, I thought I was about to see a goal of the season contender. I'm still delighted to have Craggs back in the team, I feel much more confident when he's there. Klimpl got caught out a few times but was in about everything, providing some much needed grit and Coach put in a good shift keeping Driver quiet.
  15. Numpty and rinkydink summed it up nicely. I've nothing nice to say about those *banned word*. EDIT: The banned word starts with C and ends with UNTS. And add Neil Berry, Jimmy Sandison and John Robertson to list.
  16. I was rubber at that one, the drunkest I've ever been at the fitba...... until the replay. I was a drunken shambles at the replay. EDIT: Just realised this isn't the "Drunkest you've been at the fitba" thread.

    Happy New Year

Happy New Year. Best wishes to Dossers everywhere and the squad. Aw the best for 2009.
  18. I agree with weeyin, the Nancy home game was obviously a big attraction for 'Well fans everywhere. Not everyone can make it every second week because of location, costs or other commitments - things like the first home European game in thirteen years, Cup Finals or whatever are worth putting in the extra effort/expense, some people have to go to great lengths to attend. They don't happen very often, so everyone wants to be there. Though there were some OF fans in attendance (resplendant in 'Well scarves There are fans out there, however the situation exists where people either cannot afford to attend or are unwilling to attend. IMO the crux of the matter is the price asked in relation to the quality on show. Pie summed it up nicely, the cost of a day out at the fitba is a fair burden to bear, especially in the current economic shambles we find ourselves in. On a side note, though relevant to the thread, Pie (again) has previously suggested tapping into the local immigrant population and I think this is worth further investigation. There are a fair amount of folk knocking about who are new to our country and maybe, with a wee bit of encouragement, some might adopt the local team. The more 'Well fans, the better. The more gate money for the club, the better. Sobriety may make me post a contradiction to this post but at the moment, that's where I stand on the issue. Aw the best.
  19. Spotted this on P&B (taken from the St Mirren official site), thought it might be worth mentioning.... In case anyone's interested.
  20. That site's always great for photies. Glad you posted it Mr Hat, I'd forgot to check it.
  21. That is by far my favourite AC/DC song. That would be good. There were a few suggestions in previous threads of "TNT" but changed to "MFC".
  22. Didn't know that. Wouldn't give the fuckers the money.
  23. That would be impressive. If we're going down the classical route, I reckon O Fortuna would be quite good. I've never been a fan of the Local Hero theme but I'm sure plenty do like it. When this subject comes up (and it frequently does) I'm always reminded of a post Al B made - music is such a personal thing it doesn't matter what you play, 70% of the people in the ground won't like it. I think that sums it up pretty well.
