A defender would never win a MOTM award ever again Surely a match lasts 90 mins involves defending, keeping possession, building moves attacking etc. Highlights last a couple of minutes and surely just show the main bits of attacking play.

I think a good number of posters are thoroughly scunnered with match threads. It's great to see folk enjoying the good results and good to see that rage, has moved through grudging praise to high unequivocal praise. Folk don't know what to do with themselves when the performances are so good. Maybe a few are embarrassed about comments posted a few short weeks ago and are perhaps just lying low.

Yet again proving that supporting Motherwell is a marathon, not a sprint. Achievements on our budget / attendances over recent years have been incredible and surely deserve more positivity and belief in what are in hindsight and in the grand scheme of things minor difficult patches. The guys who do the business for us deserve a wee bit more from some of the more negative element. A marvellous result and league position for a bunch of duds, managed by a dud.
