That's a fair point ML1 which I accept. I was talking more about the general vibe more than any specific posters. Yes - I wasn't at the game yesterday and don't go to many away games in general. I hang my head in shame. So I'll shut my gob in future even though I was just posting an opinion about the general vibe - and have never really thought that I was a 'better supporter than anyome'

Saturday - McCall Out Wednesday - McCall Must Stay Saturday - McCall Out Tuesday - Jury's Out Sunday - McCall Must Stay Saturday - McCall Out Motherwell fans take fickle to a new level. In the aftermath of every game - We win - he must stay, We lose He Must Go, We draw Jury's Out

FPC is poor as a forum. On here folk discuss things through posts within a thread, on FPC folk start a new thread for every post. Take during an away match for instance. If there's a goal folk start a new topic with their '1-0' post rather than keep it contained in the one "well vs whoever" thread. Tends to be similar with all topics.

Have a word with yourself Sir. Motherwell would be far better off if guys like you stopped buying your season ticket and coming in slating the players for 90mins Very soon the east stand will be home to 12 wife beaters and 25 Happy Clappers.

That was a great post by Akaknobbie. What Scottish Football needs is more people who pay to get in every week bend over and take any shit that's served up. If football and Motherwell start losing the 'mongs' that we're on about here then it really is time to sit up and mibbez do something. Guys who get behind the team for 90 mins every week. I like to be positive and I always get behind the team. Finding this season a bit of a tough ask if I'm being honest - getting on 40 years following the team. of couse it's been a lot worse. But not everything is rosy right now.

It didn't always cost £22 for the pleasure though

You're perfectly entitled to your opinion MJC

When Lasley came off McCall had Forbes, Meechan as straightforward midfield replacements and in Page and Hammell had two players that could probably go in and do a midfield job. Nobody changes position. The tinkering that went on after that was pretty abyssmal. Gunning looked injured, burnt oot or ill and he kept him on the park (dunno if he took a dunt at the far end of the pitch) McCall is blasting the players - fair doos. Someone should have a word wi the we man too

Awaiting the pelters for mentioning two antichrists in one sentence. However - Jeffers might have been the player Gow needed and Gow might have been the player that Jeffers needs.

Huge letdown last night. OK they got away with murder and we should have had at least one pen. But they looked far more dangerous in the final third than we did. Again the concerns were raised before we even got out the motor to head to the game. McCall pre-match explaining the side. We apparently changed our winning side to compensate for their expected 3 central defenders. So we'll go for a bit of width. Eh, so even wi three in the centre will they no play full backs / just nullify yer width by stickin a thug on yer winger. I thought we were at home? Could we not try and impose our game on them? The lack of cutting edge up front is a problem and Jeffers is beginning to look bemused at how far apart his partners in crime are from him in general play. he's got a good head on his shoulders and his wee lay offs etc are being wasted by no-one being near him or dare i say it on the same wavelength. I love Murphy - but his run of powderpuff shots on goal needs to be ended by him putting his laces through one soon. Surely? Like I've said before - we're in limp home mode - we'll float home til the end of the season and we might make the top six we might not. We're up and doon like the proverbial and the squad is too thin to do anything about that. We'll have the odd win here and there - but it will be largely dire like last night. The catch 22 is - we may not have funds / support to have done any better than we did in the transfer window, however we've barely got a depth in quality in our squad to justify being called a full time football club. We need to address that in the summer. However the inconsistency is not putting bums on seats and the continual turmoil inside the club and in the bigger picture of scottish football - only suggests more of the same type of fare as we had moving forward. Season Ticket Renewal anybody.

Yeah read that too. There's a big question behind all of that tho! Are the club working to offer anything?

Listening to their chairman on the way down to the game on Saturday as well - he is c**t of similar magnetude to Reid. He is publicly supporting the 10 team SPL. For the good of the game?? Nah! For the good of the Accies. He sees Accies as top dogs in that second tier and with the added resources and a TV deal (which sounds as if its in the bag) - they'll be made - in La WanStepUpFraeTheJuniors Liga. he was talking as if the Accies were already there. Hold tight lads we've only another few weeks to suffer these scurrilous anti fitba saddle sniffin cock sockets!

I genuinely think he suffers from lack of confidence at Fir Park and that affects his game. He had a decent game on Saturday but apparently he was significantly better at Pittodrie. there must be a reason for stuff like that. I think it would have been better if consecutive away games followed the Pittodrie match as opposed to successive home ones. I know they're diminishing in number but the guys that support the team away from home don't seem to include the wife beaters so that's always been a plus to guys like Forbes as the support is more positive and consistent throughout the 90. I'm hoping the OP means "give the guy a good few games in his favoured position" as opposed to "lets give it 35 mins instead of 15 before we get on this disgrace's back"
-
Aye we all know that the games went ahead. but like I say I think hand on heart we's say our pitch really and honestly was unplayable and unsafe. If that was playable then I find it hard to imagine what unplayable would actually look like
-
Last year our games were on and the pitch wasn't playable - which is why we're continuing to be the subject of criticism. we should have had a stack of games off last season and should have been asked to move our home games. This year it's holding up - barely. fingers crossed
-
What are you actually on about? youngest? PLUS - It's usually utter fuckin pish! And the comments were post match so it hardly adds tto any excitement.
-
We'll need to be more clinical than Saturday. Don't like when confidence changes to expectation that's when it all jumps up and bites us on the churlers. But aye, on paper we should win, however dunno if it'll work out just as easy on sand
-
You missed out "and don't darken my door again" heaven forbid anybody get's passionate about the well. They didn't invade the park - they piled over the barrier
