  1. Having just read the OP post I must have been at a different game midweek. Our team is littered with young guys correct but over 6ft I can only think of 3. Dods, Bennett and El Allagui. The rest are tiny and can be described as anything but battering rams lol. We closed rangers down, Had confidence we could win and took our chances.
  2. All the very best from myself and the rest of the Kevin McAllister Falkirk Supporters Club. Have a great day, do yourself and your town proud.
  3. I had guessed around that number but hard to tell. Ta
  4. How many Bairns fans were there today? Hard to tell when your in it
  5. Well, I didnt see that one coming. As mentioned I thought it was a fairly even game however we did seem to want it more. Which I can understand given the positions. Any pics of our end? We had our flag with us today. Edited to add: Hope that wasnt our last trip to Fir Park for the foreseable future. Always enjoy the craic and JDs before the game, although there was a complete nutter in their today screaming all things Man U.
  6. Not one optimistic bone in my body re tomorrow. Id also imagine it will be a fairly small travelling support, 400 if your lucky.
  7. PS Different view from the away end these days from one of the photos above....
  8. Just checked an old programme and there was less than 5000 at that game, you defo didnt have 4000 there!
  9. Cant see there being anything like a decent crowd on Wednesday. 4300 there today (although it was on TV) and wasnt helped by a poor travelling support of around 300.
  10. Correction - Played Hibs With a piss poor Hibs support too, around 1450.
  11. I hate to stop you in mid rant but Motherwell charge the same as most clubs too. I was £21 on both occasions at Fir Park last season. Not moaning though as that was what we charged too.
  12. Im glad its not on TV, we have 6200 coming tonight

So basically if a team makes it to the Group Stages of the Europa League, they got all the stuff that goes with it. No chance of the Bairns making the group stages so no probs. Ta.

Will the Well shop be stocking "Europa League" patches and numbers. FFC shop has no knowledge of anything coming in for our shirts. But surely there will be for the players strips?
  15. As an outsider, why is that? I noticed in the 2 derbies at NDP this year there was only a few hundred Mwell fans when you would expect a full stand.
  16. I hate taking money away from individual football clubs but this company are pretty good. They are based in Aberdeen and are very prompt. They stock most bar scarves etc. Football Heaven website
  17. There will be hell to pay if hes still in a navy shirt next season!!!
  18. Leeann, Im not a Well supporter, but I am a football fan and like the guys on here I know flannel when I see it. Your explanation screams that organisation isnt a strong point at the club. As a shirt sponsor with my team (and for the past 4 seasons) I can tell you that no one pays nearly £400 for simply getting a players jersey. Part of the package is always the presentation. Feel free to take on board any of this feedback as you wish but this is how Falkirk manage their sponsorship evening. I paid £411 this season including VAT for the Away jersey for a first team player. For that money I recieve: * Name in matchday programme * Preferential hospitality deals (these are emailed once a quarter) * 2 tickets to the Sponsors evening at the 4 star Inchrya Grange Hotel in Grangemouth which includes 4 course meal with wine. * Photograph with the sponsored player supplied by a photograper. * The evening is billed as the "Falkirk FC Oscars" and is a black tie event. Companies and individual sponsors sit with their sponsored player at the table. The POTY/YPOTY trophies are handed out on the same night aswell as the strip and boot presentations. The evening is always the same night each year at the hotel, the last Wednesday before the seasons ends. I dont see how the split should effect a long term booking especially as these sort of nights dont have to be a saturday. Re strips, again surely thats just a lack of planning or are you telling me Motherwell only have 1 set of strips? From my own knowledge I know FFC have at least 4 sets of first team strips Home & Away. Id be surprised if most teams dont. Corporate sponsorship for all teams is due to go down with the state of the economy, this sort of PR does nothing to help that.
  19. Cheeky b****r Id wager your fans will have their cheeks in our stadium next season* *Note - this is on the basis we win on saturday as if we lose to Well, I reckon we are fucked.
  20. Soon to be 3/4 completed i`ll thank you
