  1. Let’s hope they keep their hands off JBA…..
  2. Brilliant result, thought it was the poorest we’ve played but still created chances and still deserved to win! What a goal to win it as well. Stama should have put the game to bed before that last 10/15 mins.
  3. Just being out is a big blow (particularly with Slattery already out), although we played very well in the 1st half last Sat without him, so let’s hope we see more of that just with more end product. Crazy amount of injuries again this seasons.
  4. Think most of the team picks itself today given form and injuries but I think there’s one place up for grabs, I expect to see: Ward, Koutroumbis, Gordon, Welsh, Longelo, Watt, Fadinger, Just, Maswanhise, Stama, ??? Would have been Slattery if fit, but Its probably between Charles-Cook and Said. Think I would go Charles-Cook but interested to see who JBA goes with.
  5. Yeh, it was suppose to be Premier Player only (streaming) then they changed it today to be on Premier Sports 2 liner channel. Not sure Aberdeen v Motherwell on TV will stop other fans going to their teams games, but it is a risk.
  6. Anyone know why this is allowed given the 3pm Saturday TV blackout?
  7. Well, we've had a 0-0, 1-1, 2-2 and a 3-3, so it's only natural what comes next..... 🙂
  8. My god last week was disappointing but today really does feel like a defeat As most have said, we were completely dominant today and should have had the game out of sight before Ward’s absolute calamity. Was Watt injured? If not why the hell was he taken off! How did Stama play the whole game? A lot to like about us but we have to put games to bed when we’re so far on top. Suppose the positive is that we completely outplayed a team with a similar budget. Much much better than Killie.
  9. Hard to know how to feel after that. As we’re all saying being 3-0 and drawing is not good enough, however for 60 mins we absolutely bossed Hearts at Tynecastle playing some outstanding football, can’t remember that ever happening in my lifetime! We have 3 draws, all from games we would have been massive under dogs in, and have played some lovely football at times. The next 2 against Killie H and Dundee A will tell us a lot, 4 point minimum needed and I expect us to get them after watching our quality today.
  10. Horrible goalkeeping. Couldn’t believe what I was watching at 0-3, now can’t believe what I’m watching at 3-3 😞
  11. Midfield again looks strong, but not so sure that defence can hold out under pressure at Tynecastle! Hope I’m wrong!
  12. Thanks! Managed to get out to FP today, didn’t want to risk getting them at the ground tomorrow.
  13. It’s been an encouraging start, particularly the Morton and Rangers games. Our midfield looks in good shape with Watt, Fadinger and Slattery all playing well, and Just looking he might be able to contribute. I’m still concerned we need 1 or 2 centre half’s, 1 or 2 centre forwards and potentially a 1st choice goalkeeper. I suspect we’ll get 1 centre half and 2 strikers once the Miller deal goes through. As always I suspect whether we finish 5th/6th or 7th/8th/9th will come down to keeping our key players fit! I’ll predict 6th behind the city clubs.
  14. Just went to the St Mirren website and can buy 3 tickets for the home end and they have an email option?! Anyone know what’s going on here?
  15. Thanks Richie. What a joke that St Mirren (presuming it’s their fault) don’t issue digital tickets. Scottish football has to stop putting barriers in the way of getting numbers through the gates.
  16. I see the website is saying these are physical tickets that had to be bought today unless you’re collecting them from FP. If true that’s madness in this day and age. What do you do if you can’t get to FP before Sat?
  17. Looks like we’re in the minority mate, but I agree with all of that!
  18. Although it was brief, we started with a back 4 last week, Sparrow was pushed up wide on the right until the red card (not that it did us much good)
  19. For what its worth Id go with a 4-2-3-1, similar formation to what we started with at Rugby Park last week, but with a few changes! OX back in goals, despite making a big error against the same opposition at Tynecastle earlier this season. Miller playing deeper to get him on the ball more, the older legs of O’Donnell & Halliday on the bench to try and get a bit of energy about us. OX Kaleta, Balmer, Casey, Thomson Miller, Andrews Sparrow, Slattery, Maswanhise Armstrong
  20. My god we were poor yesterday, but given we were down to 10 men after 26 mins it’s really hard to judge the players on that. I believe the club owe it to their supporters to make a stand this week on what when on with the officiating yesterday. Both red cards are ridiculous decisions. Anyone who’s played football knows the 1st ones not a red, added to that how did the Killie player get away without even a yellow for the 2 handed push into Balmer chest?! Did the ref just completely forget that happened after he went to the screen? The 2nd red is even more ridiculous, what the hell was the linesman doing/saying to the ref given he’s 2/3 yards away and looking right at it?! Thomson is actually pulled onto Armstrong. Then he goes to the screen and changes it from a red to a yellow. The only yellow that should have been given was to Armstrong for the initial foul and the shirt pull. Then we have the 4th official manhandling Thomson to try and get him away from the Killie sub/up the tunnel. Since when was it acceptable for officials to touch players?! Some of us will have spent a small fortune (£27 is mental) travelling down to that game yesterday, which was completely ruined by an incompetent official. Total waste of all our time and money. We’ve now had 3 red cards against Killie, one overturned by VAR, one overturned on appeal and one that should be overturned this week. Couldn’t make it up!
  21. Not far off what I’d go with, but suspect we’ll see 4 changes from that! Balcome, O’Donnell, Sparrow & Andrews instead of Ox, Balmer, Kaleta & Maswanhise. Would bite your hand off for a point (as long as Celtic win!)
  22. I thought Balcome played well yesterday, including one fantastic save in the 2nd half. I’d go Balcome, Koutroumbis, Thomson, Balmer, Gordon, Casey. Miller, Slattery, Paton/Sparrow, Maswanhise, Armstrong. Although really concerned about where the goals are coming from looking at our forward options.
  23. Thought we were much better yesterday despite the defeat, anyone that was Tynecastle, Rugby Park, Easter Road and/or McDiarmid Park last month surely has to agree (despite the fact we avoided defeat at RP). I also thought we were very unlucky not to get a point, and all the stats seem to back that up. Just couldnt create a clear cut chance in the last 30 mins when we were well on top. That being said we still have some big issues and clearly need to start picking up points asap. Surely after that yesterday SOD needs to be benched, getting to the point where he’s costing us on average a goal a game with his poor defending. Think Halliday is the other one I’d drop to try and get more legs in the middle of the park, but will be interesting to see what Wimmer does.
  24. Ok, my guess/what I would play: Balcome Balmer Gordon Casey Sparrow Paton Miller Slattery Wilson Maswanhise Armstrong
  25. Ross Tierney scoring the winner and getting man of the match for Bohemians vs Shamrock Rovers. Pity we didn’t give him enough time to adjust and break through, thought he had something about him.
