As a Motherwell fan I couldn't see myself spending a match day on a St Mirren forum being all pally pally.
Ok, GIRUY, ya beauty.

1-1 boys, you dominate, don't take chances and, boom, it all goes wrong.

The footballing Gods will probably decide that will be the only goal of the game tonight.

Just stuck £20 on us on the basis that we won't go 6 home games without a win.....
BTTS and Motherwell win gives 15/4, better bet IMO.

Thanks mate, not see me, up here in Arbroath, settling down for Champions League and watching Bet 365 for the scores.
FWIW can't see us winning in normal time, ET and penalties is our best bet.
Called that right.
Never seen 4-4 right enough.

Hello from friendly St MIrren supporter.
Been reading over the posts on this thread with some interest.
Some fair and accurate posts, we have turned things around after a horrendous start, quite a rare thing without changing managers or recruiting some new players in key positions.
Also true most of our points have come against the teams in the bottom 6.
Before reading the posts on here I was off the opinion that we have a decent record against Motherwell, no matter how well you are doing, and we are capable of a draw, at least.
Pity it's looking like the weather could have an influence, both sides have players who can play decent football and the conditions might not allow them to show what they can do.
Anyway, hope it's a good game and may the best team win.

How's the weather been overnight down your way?
Freezing up here in Arbroath, hope you've got that blanket on, keep that sand warm.
Hope it's a good crowd and an open game.
I, like a few of you guys, would take a draw, we've a tough couple of games coming up, a point would be a decent result.
6/1 for 1-1. An even better 14/1 1-2.
And another dot.
Ca-ching.
Mostly good things to say on behalf of both teams. Appreciate the fair views and, like I said before the game, two decent teams, trying to play football.
Keep up the good work guys, see you soon.
-
Even better, 33/1 Motherwell 4-0 and 25/1 Higdon hat-trick
That's downright nasty.
Wonder why the odds are so high?

Noticed the lights on at Fir Park this evening, wonder how the test went?
Is it safe for me to report all is well with the lights then?
FFS Who has to many dots to waste then?

Some decent, and true, points made guys.
We don't score many goals, we do play some neat football but the fact we're not playing the decisive pass is costing us.
If we play well this could be a good game. The longer it stays at 0-0 your boys will start to feel the "home" pressure and we could win this.
If you get an early goal I fear that could settle you and could win comfortably.
Whatever way it goes I think it will be a decent enough game.
Good luck, 1-2 for me.
Edited to say...............thanks for the dot.
Edited.......Many thanks for the cancelled dot.

I think it's a further testament to our form on the road and our season as a whole that "poor home form" means a draw!
Possibly but having only scored 6 goals on 8 games would suggest you might, indeed, manage a draw.

Send us the link and we can all have a giggle....does Dr Stuart post there....he's a clever guy and if he does, I bet it is quallity.....
SD
Stuart does post, some decent comments, some appear to be fishing trips, I think?

Thank you; mate! There is so much pish on these boards all the time; great to see decent people who have a bit of realism about them; even though, of course, I wasn't at the game and I am in no position to comment.....
Thanks again!

You should see our site.

Congrats on yesterdays result boys, a 3-0 victory against a half decent team on thier own patch continues your excellent away form.
Our main hope next week is your poor home continues.
Should be a decent game.
Cheers.

Higdon is a big target man. He will score all the shite goals of the day (just like big Sutton) but a goal is a goal and if that's the way it has to be then so be it. We've not got the money for a Ross McCormack'esque striker so I'm quite happy as long as he's banging them in. Apart from that he's not really got much else to offer IMHO.
A good comparison is the rangers' support's view on big kris Boyd. Plenty of folk I've spoke to wouldny take him back even although He's one of their most prolific goalscorers.
As long as he scores the goals av nae complaints in the grand scheme of things.
Who did you speak to, Pat, Mick or Tim?
A guy who scored "quite a lot of goals" and they wouldn't want him back.
You couldnae write it.
-
Higdon is a scoring machine.
As I've said, he will split opinion but I'm afraid at the end of the day a forward who scores goal's is a ......................... forward?
In todays "modern game" the line between positions has been blurred to an extent some so called supporters want it all.
That's all.
-
Higdon got similar treatment from a section of our support. (Still is getting it on our forum) His "lazy" style makes it look as though he's not interested. It comes down to what you want, a forward who scores goals or a forward who runs about a lot.
His 15 goals for us last season, and that's a team who were 2nd bottom, shows he knows where the net is and WILL score goals for you guys.
Unfortunately some people will never accept him, I'd have him back in a second.
Hope your current decent form continues.
