  1. I've used this post to highlight the double standards used by our set of supporters (St Mirren) on a consistant basis who don't seem to see the old "pot, kettle, black" saying. Having been brought up in the murky atmosphere of the west coast illness of bigots surrounding me, before moving away some 20 years ago, I was always aware of the poison that is there on a weekly/monthly basis. I just can't see the point in any provincial clubs allowing their support to be seen to be dragging the clubs into the gutter with the Old Firm. (Again, the OF supporters have a moronic element who drag them down) I have seen nothing to suggest to suggest that the OF get the bad press because they, simply, have more supporters, than other teams. I feart this section of so called "supporters" will always use provincial clubs to spread their sad lives and sad views while dragging these clubs into the gutter, confirming the view we are a country that is blighted with the illness of bigotry with no real sign of a cure.
  2. My daughter has a very similar record so, as we're not going today, I'm changing my bet, 2-1 you guys unless I can make a call to stop your sister getting into the ground.
  3. :tease: Yip, that "O" level in cooking has proved to be handy.
  4. Hope today's game lives up to expectation. We are, and I'm as shocked as anyone, playing pretty good stuff, as are you boys. All adds up to a game worth the entry fee. As for the score, close as both teams have suffered injuries. I'll stick a small wager on 2-1 us and the Paisley Barcelona continue to show Scottish football the way to play.
  5. Hello all the Motherwell support. Just to prevent a few of you turning up at the wrong place on Saturday, we don't play at Love St anymore, nothing worse than you guys waiting for the teams to come out and all you get is a couple of security guards asking you what the hell you are doing standing on private property. I think it'll be a pretty good game, you guys are playing pretty decent stuff, as are we. Another post says, quite rightly, we aren't scoring a lot of goals but we are creating plenty of chances. Someone will suffer if we keep this up. Good to see we both teams have young managers who are having some sucess. As for the result, I'll wait and see how our injury situation goes. One thing I can say, the support who travel will see a decent game.
  6. Good luck today boys, I think it should be a good game, to close to call. See you all next week.
  7. It's no often I agree with Shull, he is the grumpiest man on the fcuking planet, but I do on this occassion. If I could pick a winner, and William Hill will tell you that's no very often, I would pick you guys. The more mature among you will remember 20 years ago and what that meant to the club & fans, today could be in the same bracket. I'll be watching and hoping, all the very best guys & girls. Just heard on the news, today will be "the end of the world" at 6:00pm, so, whatever way the game goes you'll no have long to celebrate or drown your sorrows.
  8. Somebody tell him for gods sake. Google should give you the answer. Hope this helps.
  9. I'll assume you're not aware of Stubbs "illness"?
  10. Can't say too much, mainly his attitude was very authoritarian, verging on cruel, the first team players made an issue to the club and Muttley sided with his man. Another nail in his arrogant coffin, players wouldn't play for him, hence the sharp decline.
  11. I'd doubt it, he's fairly settled down south, I'm sure, no disrespect, he's looking for a bigger club, Championship at worst. Quick reminder, it's in the Sun. They throw a bunch of names into a hat and make up "someone close" said he'd be interested.
  12. I'm surprised the Brown left to go to Aberdeen, there in a mess, although a lot of that's down to the fact Muttley has lost the team and his side-kick was, according to my insider, was verging on criminal with the youngsters at the club. Why Brown thinks this is a better job is beyond me, suppose time will tell. As a few guys have mentioned the current financial restraints make it hard to poach another teams manager, you might have to take a punt on a younger manager as most of the current crew who are out of work are out of work for a reason, there shit.
  13. Without making this into a soap I have made similar posts on our site. The behaviour of stewards in most grounds leaves a lot to be desired. There seems no common set of rules and selective action being taken. Lets not forget, every club has supporters who are, at best, best left in the pub, ( os shouldn't be allowed out of the house) and the stewards have a difficult job but inconsistant behaviour leaves them wide open to criticism. Time all clubs had an agreement that all stewards followed and a method of monitoring these people.
  14. Very disappointing about the stewarding mate. TBH incidents like this have been getting talked about recently on our forum, I just posted your comments, not sure what can be done but something should be, it's a disgrace these half wits are allowed to drag a clubs name down. Our stewards are not alone, it seems to be a growing problem.
  15. You could have nicked it to be honest as the game went on, all in all, not a disaster. Onwards and upwards, see ya all soon..........good luck in the next few weeks, watch out for Killie, the've found form from somewhere in the last few weeks.
  16. Muttleys lot losing 1-0 against Fake Johnstone, bet yer glad he left?
  17. Sounds some goal...................our usual goal against...................as I feared.
  18. Lucky there boys, we're on top here, pressure getting to you? Unlucky, Jennings close..............I better keep quiet.
