  1. All that proves is that McCall's brain had turned to mush.
  2. There is no chance it would be permanent. MOH has another three years at a reported £7k a week at Ibrox ie they owe him over a million pounds.
  3. That's nowhere near enough. We need cash to clear the debt.
  4. It's likely two seasons in the Championship will cost them all the money they got for Armstrong, GMS and Ciftci. And that's without knowing how much McNamara and Thompson personally pocketed from the deals.
  5. Yesterday should be a reminder that building a team is far more important than selling players. We got away with it this season. We might not be so lucky again.
  6. And they still managed to finish below Ross County and Accies and get hammered by Livi in a cup they were supposed to walk.
  7. This basically gives us an extra week of training before the first League Cup game compared to last summer. The decision to play Rangers on two weeks of training last year was the first shambolic moment in a shambles of a season.
  8. The Malpas team were actually decent the problem was Malpas. The Admin team were better than any of the current bottom 7.
  9. There are a lot of good memories but the overall verdict boils down to the decision at Hampden. My main point was that the following two seasons when McDonald joined were far better and we weren't shite by any stretch of the imagination and were much more enjoyable week by week than the admin season. Stuff like beating Hearts at Tynecastle and Aberdeen at Pittodrie for the first time in years probably don't stick in the mind the way the games from the admin season do but they were every bit as good.
  10. McDonald's first spell was the club bouncing back from administration and apart from the Malpas disaster we had a good ten years right up to Starjnan. Getting those two top six finishes after finishing 12th and dodging relegation was incredible at the time. The admin season was brutal. We only won 7 league games and lost 24. Just because 5 of the wins were extremely memorable doesn't make it a good season. Between the Celtic and the Hearts wins we played 11 games in the league and lost 10, drawing 1. We went from a win against Dunfermline on 19th of February to the Livi game on the 24th of May with the same league record 10 losses and 1 draw.
  11. Boyce scored more goals than Moussa Dembele so Ross County should be looking for closer to £50m..... To be fair it is some achievement for Boyce to be top scorer playing for a bottom six club.
  12. Making your top scorer one of your highest earner is a simple decision. Also even if they are getting free accommodation I don't see many players moving up here for 400 quid a week. If wages are that low they must have some credit card bills for all the designer gear you see them cutting about in.
  13. We already have our elderly centre half. Are you preparing a dissertation about why we should give Lee Lucas a fourth contract capt_oats?
  14. McCulloch has done well and had a young team playing some decent stuff the other night.
  15. So you'll not be happy with the Jules-Chalmers-Craigan back three?
  16. Ainsworth guarantees goals and assists along with the shite performances. Every single Motherwell player is capable of contributing to a loss and have done on numerous occasions this season. Only three players were capable of scoring more than three league goals in 2016/17.
  17. The new parks. I doubt the council will give that away.
  18. I'm struggling to think of a decent sized bit of empty ground in Motherwell never mind two.
  19. If we start the season playing the same kind of long ball shite that has featured in every single game since he took over it'll be about three games until he's under pressure to be sacked. So your job for the summer Steve is to sign some decent players including at least one quality striker, learn how to coach a team to play attacking football or hire an assistant who can and actually bring the players back early enough that they are fit for the first competitive game. Good luck!
  20. Caley have played some decent stuff this season, especially the draw with Celtic and defeat of Rangers. I don't see Moult playing or Heneghan if there is genuine interest in him.
  21. Killie were denied a stonewall penalty when McHugh handled a shot.
  22. Carey played for Ross County and St Mirren so he's both..... He would be a good signing imo.
  23. It was great to see him go out on a high but a fresh start will probably be best for him. I actually think his attitude on the park in terms of work rate got a lot better the last couple of seasons but between Cadden's emergence and his problems with various managers we never saw the best of him.

    Lasley.

He's apparently applied for a few lower league jobs in the past so he'll probably go down that route.
