  1. It was obvious when McGhee came in he only saw Ainsworth and Laing as wages to be freed up to bring in his own signings. For me if you have a player like Lionel who can score and make goals you need to coax that out them as much as you can. Instead of doing that McGhee went out his way to try and make him leave. A good manager gets the effort we've seen the last two games over a season.
  2. Lionel has been up and down since he came but I'm delighted to see him go out on a high. He seems like the type of player who needs to be managed and suffered from playing under managers who weren't willing or able to do that at times. If you look at his goals and assists since he has been here we'll miss him and the quality of his goals has been incredible.

    Lasley.

At my end of the East he was emotional It's an unusual spot to be in walking round behind all your team mates while also watching your three small kids.
  4. I'd say it's the other way around. He does moan a lot but gets a hard deal from the refs, Craig Thompson in particular hates him.
  5. Spending a fortune on EPL players was his main tactic. Only three of his signings - Jenno, Hateley and Humphrey - were at the club the following season. He also wanted the club to buy Owain Fon Williams from Stockport.
  6. The guy has chosen to start Blyth and Jules so I've not got much faith in his ability to judge a player.
  7. Aside from the relegation battle it'll be Lasley and Skippy's last game at Fir Park and more than likely Moult as well. Hopefully they go out on a high and can get a proper send off.
  8. So eight games out of eleven where we haven't scored from open play or even looked likely to any point. Our play in the final third is probably the worst I've ever seen.
  9. We've hardly scored a goal from open play since Robinson came in. That style of play will guarantee we are in crisis and looking for a new manager before the end of the year. Letting him continue is a huge risk.
  10. That's fine for people who are happy to finish below Accies.
  11. We are only three points ahead of Hamilton so if we both win on Tuesday they can still go above us on the final day.
  12. There's no way we can afford their wages.
  13. Aye it feels like this will be the decisive game for us.
  14. So it's Bruno Alves or Heneghan for Rangers.
  15. Dundee United are very poor from what I have seen of them and it's hard to see them winning all three ties regardless of who they might play from our league.
  16. Jacob Blyth, up the street, drinking a frappicino. Definitely a sign of impending relegation.
  17. Looking at our league only Rangers, Dundee and Hearts have really had change of ownership in the past 10 years and only really Dundee was fresh money coming into the game. There are no buyers out there.
  18. He's the senior vice President of the Fan Engagement department. He is mainly focused on the big Claret and Amber retirement and headhunting their replacement. In his spare time he does surveys which conclude the fans want a new scoreboard.
  19. I wasn't just talking about McGhee going with Scotland I was talking about McGhee not bothering his arse to come back from Brighton until Wednesday some weeks. The most senior employee at the club needs to either be making the manager work full time or demand that the board makes him work full time. You are obviously close to Burrows so any chance you ask him how many training sessions we have had this season without a qualified coach present?
