we're definitely better suited to playing celtic than rangers these days. celtic tend to be a bit more patient in their build up and we have time to get bodies behind the ball. thinking back to the goals we've lost to rangers this season most of them have happened when we've lost the ball in their half and they've went right up the park and scored, we've been murder at picking davis, naismith and weiss's runs from midfield. you also need to look at the formations we've been playing. we've played 4-5-1 in the three games against celtic and kept it tight and the same thing happened in the cis against rangers. in the two rangers games at fir park and the first one at ibrox we weren't far off playing a 4-4-2. there has also been a common theme that we start ok but as the game wears on and our midfield tires and being out numbered really starts to count against us. we must play 4-5-1 with hateley holding in the final against celtic. i had my suspicisions about foran on skippy sunday, mcghee's strange team selections and tactics against the old firm near the end of 07/08 and gannon in the game meechan and mchugh started. for me questions were raised about mccall yesterday. letting jones play the 90 = not giving a fuck how many goals we lost.

i couldn't point to stoke on a map and couldn't give a toss about their football team but by your logic if i got my hands on an fa cup final ticket and went to the game i would be as much of a fan as someone who has been going week in week out for 30 years. very good.

i was at the 6-1 game and i wasn't too bothered about it but the 2nd half today was shocking. we spent the full 2nd half with 6 players defending 6 or 7 of their attackers. it was an exact repeat of what happened in december.

i was at tynecastle. the guy cheats. when we have the ball he is bright eyed and bushy tailed but when we lose it he does fuck all to get back and help his full back. i sit in the 2nd last section of the east 25 yards from goal and i don't think he came level with me once in the 2nd half. the guy has a few decent bits of skill but today he showed no desire to help us defend when we were taking a beating. so he can go and fuck himself.

mccall needs to take a look at himself after that. the first half was fine but rangers chnaged their tactics after time and rode us for the full 2nd 45. our problem against them is that we can't pick up their runs from deep and with only two real midfielders on the park they killed us with papac, naismith, davis and whittaker running from deep. we needed to shut up shop why the hell did we take off lasley rather than jones. they were raping us in the middle of the park but jones who didn't track back once during the 2nd stayed on. you can't play against the old firm with 10 men and that's what we were doing second half. jones might think he can prolong his career by only running when his side have got the ball but it better not be at fir park. the only positive to take from today is that the 11 for the final is settled.

bearing in mind that celtic have darryl murphy and samaras in their squad and rangers have healy, lafferty and beatttie in their squad it doesn't suprise me they're interested in sutty. sutty has 17 this season. those 5 diddies combined have scored 18 goals this season and probably take home 60 grand a week between them plus they cost around 10 million total.
