our domestic season this year runs from the 14th of august to the 21st of may. 40 weeks. if you wanted the season to start on the first saturday in march this year we'd currently be discussing the implications of call offs on the final weekend's fixtures and speculating as to whether we'd be able to get the scottish cup final on or not this weekend (and that's assuming we'd played through the world cup).

do you not think the best thing to do considering we can lose games due to the weather between late november and late march is to have the maximum amount of dates available to get them played?

pearson has a decent cv for someone of his ability. scotland caps including the win over holland and in paris. he played and scored in the champions league. he has a scottish league and cup medal. he scored the winner in the play off final and he played in the epl. plus he married a miss scotland which not many people would have predicted when he broke into the well team. the same goes for mcculloch. a full set of scottish medals, english league cup and uefa cup runners up medals, scotland caps and a belter of a goal. plenty of champions league and epl experience. for two local boys with little actual talent they've done very well for themselves.

our opponents are owned by a rather dodgy character who is the head of a rather dodgy bank in lithuania.
