chisolm and dodds are about the last people i'd want involved. i'd take tangoman or yogi before those two. i agree that we should take our time though. the next four games will take care of themselves, as long as we have a new boss by new year i'll be happy.

spl rules i think we'd argue we had some kind of contract with them. the fact that we were paying them an agreed wage would constitute a contract in scots law i think.

they were club employees and shouldn't have been directly approached by another spl club.

there is if he thinks he'll walk in the door and get the same response he got from our players in january. the aberdeen squad is full of wasters who think they're big shots because they're up in the middle of nowhere. i'm already looking forward to well fans taking over the accies main stand for a bottom six relegation decider.

he had some strange quotes today about being able to keep 3 out of contract players (blackman, fitzy and gow) and how that would affect his decision. if he goes to aberdeen he can take fitzy and gow (and the cypriot and casagolda) with him. keeping blackman til the end of the season has to be our number priority tho.

this is a bit harsh. has no one considered this could be a sign of dementia and brown thinks he's going up there to manage leighton, miller, mcleish, strachan and black?

this is certainly unexpected. keeps us on our toes anyway with nae games at the moment. i hope brown stays as we're doing well just now and it'd be best not to rock the boat but even if he does go i reckon we'll be ok. brown isn't doing anything startling, just keeping it simple and getting as much as possible out of the players. the last three managers that have came have got off to flyers because we have a strong core of good players with a superb attitude - craigan, reynolds, hammell, lasley, sutton, jenno - and you can be sure they'll react the same way again. if this does happen i'll be disapointed but that'll be far outweighed by the excitement about the trip to sheepland next week. if he does go i'll also be firing a fiver on a motherwell-aberdeen CIS cup final :wank:

someone should tell him he brought five players in during the summer - charalambous, randy, blackman, casagolda and gow - as well as tripling tom hateley's wages.

brown is just a auld haverer, he says what ever is in his head or what he thinks people want to hear eg the "we've no money/we need to get through this round to make a signing/nae money/alan gow" patter in the summer. i don't think he's going anywhere he just likes a wee bit of attention.

it seems like united aren't too interested in getting the game on. they were gagging to call their game off against rangers as well.

i don't know about that. if the ball is out of play by the time ferguson hits weir then it cannae be a free kick. correct decision imo

we'll hopefully take inspiration from 3 years ago today. hearts 1 - motherwell 2. a poor first half performance sees us a goal down at half time. snow starts piling down at half time and seems to inspire the well who are first to every ball after the restart with hughes and mccormack running riot. one of my favourite away days. we went out for a few beers and a chinese in edinburgh after then went home to see ricky hatton getting sparked by mayweather.

building a team out of langfield, diamond, considine, ifil, young, mackie and co is bordering on an impossibility. maybe archie fancies being no.1. he apparently does the majority of the work with the players anyway.

if he goes he better take gow with him! no idea why he'd go to aberdeen but if he is then we'll just have to deal with it. it'll make the game up there a week on saturday more interesting anyway. can anyone think of any chants i'm not sure he will go. wee craig clearly likes a bit of attention and he might just be letting miller and milne tickle his belly before politely knocking them back.
