aye but i think they get fewer non season ticket holders for OF matches than other games.
-
cheers, things will probably be a bit different this year due to the cooper kids deal tho.
-
there should be a thread on here from last season where leeann dempster outlined the numbers in each stand and how many season ticket holders there were and how many attended one game (i think was the rangers 0-0 last september). here it is

randolph saunders craigan reynolds hammell humphrey jennings las/fitzy murphy sutton blackman get sutty and fitzy back in as we'll get nothing here unless we can mix it with midden. saunders is a must as well to combat higdon in the air. let's hope we can get the three points and set up a belter of a match with hearts the following week.

i think m'lord was out injured for a fair bit of the season. the killie game was his 2nd game back and i remember being at the bb 7s on the night after he made his comeback in a midweek home defeat and everyone was talking about how bad he was in that game and the next week he scored a hat trick i'm still gutted i was on holiday when he got his second hat trick of the season against raith. hopefully nick the blackman can be the next well player to get two hat tricks in a season.

i doubt he'll be thinking thats made it but he's got nothing to be embarassed about. from the amatuer scottish cup final to the scotland squad in less than 3 and a half years, he should be proud as fuck. levein wanted a right back, what's that got to do with murphy or reynolds? saunders situation is totally seperate from theirs. i'll admit i'm suprised but he's in a squad but with caddis, wilson and davidson in there as well he's not out of place. and as for being a motherwell sub he's started 16 out the 19 matches he was available for.
-
saunders has played against far better opposition in the spl, in the europa qualifiers and for the u19s and u21s, it's daft to say we should be worried about him playing against the faroes. levein obviously likes him because he is dominant in the air and when he eventually switches to centrehalf i could see him becoming a scotland regular, his performances at cb in the games where we got clean sheets at pittodrie, tannadice, parkhead and at home to rangers last season were outstanding. even though i think he'd stroll through the faroes game i'd rather see him in the u21s as i doubt he's going to get on. a conspiracy theorist might say levein is ensuring no motherwell players pick up any caps this week and that saunders place in the u21 team goes to a hearts player

unless they're talking about red cards they must be grade a retards.
-
what does that achieve?

with stuff like the saunders offside decision i don't think there's much to be said, you either accept it or accuse the linesman of cheating. i don't think the linesman was cheating on saturday he just made a bad decision, if you can't accept that then there's not really much point in playing the game. however i would hope that craig would be mentioning it off the record to the monday press to get it brought up today and maybe putting in a wee call to his pals at sportscene to get the two late tackles highlighted. single decisions are one thing, trends over a longer period are another. we should be asking the sfa in private about criag thomson's willingnes to allow defenders to manhandle our players and dougie mcdonald's distribution of cards in motherwell games. if the answer isn't satisfactory then we should go public as these are things that have been fucking us over for years. we should be screaming blue murder about the timekeeping. the game didn't last 90 minutes, there's no judgement involved there we were just fucked over.
-
bad news. he must have woken up to how shite he is. we need at least one midfielder in january. please don't let brown waste all our money on this chancer.
-
watching on alba 6 minutes 50 seconds injury time got played which is actually less than their boy was down for. add in trakys, blackman, liam miller's minute long sub and the two incidents and subbings in stoppage time and we should have been looking at 102 minutes. brown should definitely complain about that. decisions are one thing, not getting 90 mins is another and mcdonald has done it before in the edinburgh derby to benefit hibs.
-
gary fucking kenneth. fuck levein i hope the faroes pump us.
-
i think it was to do with the fact that it was massively deflected and the ball broke to him from a st johnstone player tackling gow.
-
moaning isn't exactly working out well for lennon though is it? saying that if we could ban dougie mcdonald and craig thomson from our games 90% of our problems with refs would disapear.
-
reynolds for me just shading it from hammell and randy.
-
not that a bad result or performance in context but definitely craig brown's worst day in the motherwell dug out. tom hateley - back in centre midfield and as ineffectual as ever. he won the ball once in the entire game and was generally murder. we can't go away from home and play with two attacking wingers and a passenger in the centre of midfield, we found that out badly in the 6-6 game. the guy clearly isn't cut out to play in a pair in centre midfield. fitzy gave the ball away loads the other night but i would still have him in front of hateley as he's got a bit of dig. alan gow - big sutty had a decent game the other night and it was clear from the ict and st johnstone games that we're much better with sutton in the team but gow came back in anyway. he was diabolical the day, he had some nice bits of skill in the first half but most of the time he doesn't seem interested. an empty shirt who better lose his place for the trip to midden. subs - nae subs for 88 minutes even although mark brown hasn't made a save then three on at once. only they don't get on for a couple of minutes then even when play stops we don't put them on as we're defending a free kick then it's another couple of minutes. awful. saying that we've played much worse at easter road and the two goals we lost were very unlucky. we're still in a great position and hopefully we'll bounce back from today with an excellent performance in the next fixture as we have done from all our league loses this season.

what a prick. blatant hibs handball and we end up with two players booked. at the time i thought it was 3 but obviously craggs wasn't booked. ian murray steams in on randolph, studs him on the thigh and somehows gets away with a yellow plus craggs gets a yellow for nothing. galbraith jumps in and studs reynolds. mark stays upright even though he was caught. result yellow each. fuck off you absolute joker. motherwell yellow cards in the 14 domestic games not invovling mcdonald 12. motherwell yellow cards in the two games involving mcdonald 5 (or 6 if craggs did get booked twice). you cannae blame mcdonald for the offside goal or the result but he was absymal again. it's not a suprise this happened against hibs as everyone knows he's a hibs fan. apparently jim delahunt said on clyde last night this could be his last match, if it is and he has chosen it as his goodbye fixture then we should complain. referees shouldn't get to choose their own appointments.

anyone else think that this could all be an arab conspiracy? dundee united are heavily in debt and due ex-dundee united board member craig levein and dundee united manager peter houston are hoping that by capping kenneth, robertson and goodwillie and including dixon is a squad they'll increase the players potential sell on value. they also know that success for motherwell means less dough for united through spl prize money and euro places. so they don't want to cap reynolds and murphy as it'll increase their value and give us more dough to reinvest. very far fetched but i'm choosing to believe it for two reasons. (i) i hate levein (ii) babyheid got a cap. there is no other explanation for this.

i think the big man could have had a career in boxing if the fitba didn't work out him.
-
he definitely deserves the chance. craigan has been a great servant for northern ireland and has put in great performances against italy, spain, england, sweden and others. surely if craggs can manage it mark can as well? darren barr got a chance ahead of him which was a joke. babyheid getting a call up ahead of him was a joke and now danny wilson if anyone can explain why wilson deserves to be in the squad can they please enlighten me?
-
what more can reynolds do? he's played in 40 matches for us this year in which we've had 19 clean sheets, that's some achievement but he's been overlooked for danny wilson who has done the square root of he-haw in his career and if i had to wager i'd say he's much more likely to go down as another liverpool transfer fuck up than become an epl regular. murphy is a class act and it won't be long until it's impossible to leave him out the squad, it tells you all you need to know about the scotland manager that jamie was selected ahead of goodwillie in both u21 play off games, scored in one and hit the post in another but the DAB thug gets the nod from levein. humphrey has been in great form recently but so have burke and commons and they deserve to be in before chris. on the one hand i'm gutted for jamie and especially mark but on the other i'm quite happy that our players are staying well clear of that speccy jambo cu.nt.

i saw that as well. if anyone from the trust is on did they contact the press or were they approached by the record for a quote?

this season: played 20, won 12, drawn 2, lost 6, scored 30, conceded 17, 9 clean sheets. last season: played 21, won 9, drawn 6, lost 6, scored 31, conceded 27, 10 clean sheets total: played 41, won 21, drawn 8, lost 12, scored 61, conceded 44, 19 clean sheets. impressive

i'm actuallly a bit more confident about saturday with them winning than i would have been if they got beat. we look good going forward and i think murphy and humphrey will cause their fullbacks serious problems. we owe them for the 3 points they stole on the first day of the season so i think the players will be well up for this.
