Liam Kelly is not an international standard goalkeeper and has made far too many bad errors for us to be considered for a cap. Just this year Main's goal in Paisley, Tavernier's free kick at Fir Park and the Dundee United penalty. We would all rather it was 11 Scottish guys playing but the reality is we aren't bringing through goalkeepers or strikers in this country at all so we need to spread the net.

2 nil to France at HT. Miller has made some good contributions but overall it's like watching a Featherweight fighting a Middleweight in boxing. France have a boy at the back about the same size as Mugabi and are bigger 1-11. Ryan One from Accies has been Scotland's best player and will be attracting interest. As usual with Scotland youth teams it's a wide spread of ability and there are two absolute no hopers from Celtic and the centre back from Rangers isn't up to much.

Lennon Miller starting for the u17s vs France at the Euros in Czechia. It's on the BBC Sport website kicking off at half 3.

Disgraced former First Minister Nicola Sturgeon and current Aberdeen CEO Alan Burrows? Dare away.

It was a terrible game overall and I don't think anyone played well other than Butcher and Casey but credit to him for getting up the park and winning the pen.

That's because he's barely kicked a ball this season. If you go back a year further he was getting sent off on purpose against Rangers and giving away stupid goals every other week because he spat the dummy that no other club wanted him after the Euros.

SOD has come out and said he's here for next season. Surely he's not triggered a contract extension with all the 2 minute cameos he gets?

Unsurprisingly that's not true. The club made roughly £900,000 from European football this year. That will be a good chunk of our turnover for 8 days work and a wee jaunt to Ireland. If we had approached it professionally we could have made a lot more.

That's a bit extreme. They are pish, just hold onto your soul and let KVV finish them off.

We've got to get Casey signed up. I've got a feeling his form has been too good though. Hearts are still playing that carthorse Sibbick so they would be mental not to make him an offer. Looking at the table Dundee United won't be safe by the final game even if they win the next two so that should make for an interesting game.

We have seen what happens when you sign guys because they do ok.

Which we will waste on Harry fucking Paton.

He can't get a chance in the remaining games he's away to the Euros after this.

Harry Paton ahead of Cornelius and Miller. Kettlewell not interested in youth.

I'm trying to think of goals we have scored from corners this season. Slattery at Aberdeen is the only one I can think of?

Jammy but we'll take it.

A poor game. Mandron and Spittal offering nothing.

Spittal just giving the ball to the opposition again. The guy is dross.

He's often given the impression of not giving a fuck when he's playing for us so I'd have him out the door at the first opportunity.

SOD starting. It'll be interesting to see what kind of performance he puts in. Slattery stays in ahead of Dean. Hopefully Lennon Miller gets some minutes before he goes to the Euro u17s.

Aye it does seem to be a way to change the eligibility rules without any of the Lowland or Highland League clubs getting a say. If they try that then the clubs should refuse to play them.

Having Premiership youth players sitting on buses to play Highland league teams is the height of idiocy. Given that neither Rangers nor Celtic managed to win the Lowland league this season, they don't have any players on the verge of the first team who have played a lot in the lowland league and aren't putting many players in the Scotland u21 squad this seems like a waste of time.

I don't think we did. We accepted a bid from China then the Chinese came back again and said they would have to reduce the offer and we told them to bolt.

Mandron and Aitchison are both poor players and need to be let go. Obika as well. Replacing KVV (and potentially Casey) will be the real test of Kettlewell as a manager. If this Paul McMullen rumour is true then we are in bother.
