It's not about the amount of money though. There's plenty of people out there supporting families on the National Living Wage. The players point here is that if they get injured doing their job their outgoings don't change but the FA want their wages to be cut to statutory sick pay after 12 weeks. That's obviously unacceptable given the extremely high rate of at work injuries in the football industry and the fact that the clubs obviously don't make any adjustments to job roles to allow people with medical injuries to come back to work. Football can't act like it's a normal business when they are placing demands on their worker's bodies that would be illegal in most jobs.

There's 60 million people living in England so I don't think they should be limited to 92 full time clubs. Looking at the names of teams in the National League you have the likes of Torquay, Gateshead, Yeovil, Barnet, York, Halifax etc.

Park has twice gave the wrong name to the police resulting legal issues for fans. He should be out of a job but we haven't even heard anything about disciplinary proceedings against him nevermind the outcome of that. Funny handshakes all round by the looks of it. The players have obviously lifted their game and look more enthusiastic but going forward I don't think we are any better and still too reliant on KVV. Defending we are miles better thanks to Casey and Butcher who Hammell brought in. It's been fine margins for Hammell and Kettlewell. Paul McGinn scoring a crazy OG at home to Killie followed by Polworth sticking one in from 30 yards was terrible luck for Hammell. On the other hand Kettlewell has had positive results due to wonder goals from Max Johnston and Slattery. We should have enough about us to stay up now but for next season Kettlewell will need to add a bit extra in attack and demand a lot more from the players than he is letting Obika away with at the moment.

Aye when you see where the covering defender is at the point of the foul it was clearly a last man situation.

Butcher has been great in his current role. It would be nuts to move him unless we were down to the bare bones in midfield.
