  1. Sorry if this has been posted but does anyone know if it will be shown on the internet anywhere? My work are c***s and would only let me have next thursday night off
  2. Personally, I'm very worried about this departure. I really don't know who we could attract. A few people are mentioning Billy Reid but I don't think we could bring him to motherwell. 3 or 4 of our best players could be on their way out and Hamilton have a good young side who will probably we able to hold on to a few of their best players for another year. McGhee has done a great job but could leave us pretty fucked. Could be a grim season next year unless we get a decent name in, but still looking forward to it
  3. Darren Smiths wee brother came up to me one night and asked if I wanted his autograph. Promptly told to juke
  4. On Sky Sports News this morning the guy said that undersoil heating was being put in at St Andrews for Birmingham going back into the premier. He said 18 miles worth of pipes. Surely no??

The Lip, I believe this to be one of the biggest masterstokes from the club in the time I have supported them. Not only is clever and innovative it has captured the hearts of the fans. I for one would be delighted if they did provide a further teaser and subsequent teasers for the away kit. What do you think?
  7. Christ, obviously nae chance they could get Moyes and unlikely Coyle will be going anywhere for now. Mowbray is more realistic but I don't reckon it will be him either.
  8. I am struggling to comprehend what reason they could give for taking that inflatable away. Absolutely unreal. The only reason I can think of is that they are generally just thick c***s
  9. Luxembourg would be superb. Wales wouldn't really feel like a proper Europe tie. I've just been watching all the Nancy videos again. Quality
  10. I'm not too sure about season ticket numbers against the rest of the home support every week but I would have thought that the majority of home fans at the remaining games will be made up of mainly season ticket holders, regardless of price. Motherwell have nothing to play for so i doubt we will be able to tempt the floating fans into Fir Park for the rest of the season. I reckon the high prices are still in place due to travelling supports who have everything to play for. So no point in dropping prices now

what about that compare the meerkat. arguably the most succesful uk advertising campaign of the year. last time i checked it wasny sellin meerkats. i think you are talking pish a bit. anything to get people talking about the product is a bonus and as far as i can see this is the most interest that has been created from a shirt launch in recent years for motherwell
  12. well said flow. haven't read the rest of the thread but what were the chants at klimpl at the start? and did the boy mchugh get much of a run out? hope to fuck they go down
  13. are they not just the same folk bar maybe 5-10 people? surely there wasnt a mass exodus from that part of the ground by the wellboys and the east end baby crew (i cringe even typing that) all moved in there. i sit a section along and they dont really bother me. i dont doubt that a lot of them are fannys but at least we've got some kind of noise coming from the support
  14. on behalf of the organisers, I would like to add that anyone who turns up with their own pool cue is indeed a banger. thanks
  15. i'd like to think this was tounge in cheek but I'm guessing its just lack of intellect
  16. i hope we beat hamilton and st mirren. apart from that i couldny care less really as long as some youngsters get a chance. i couldnt bear another defeat to st mirren.
  17. some tit sat on my seat anyway could it have been anymore obvious?
  18. ill be renewing this season. i got a concession for 140 (i think) because i bought it early. just curious but why does the poster further up believe season ticket holders have been treated like shit? unless they sit in the cooper i cant think of any other reason. maybe its just what im used to at motherwell but i dont think we get it too bad and actually get a sound deal if you get a concession however, dont get me wrong, on the whole scottish fitba is still too dear.
  19. i think the problem is mainly the quality of football and the access people have to the prem league down south now. the majority of people are used to watching man utd, liverpool play week in week out now. unless you'vesupported a team all your life i cant think of anything that would make a regular punter want to go and start watching guff like falkirk vs. st mirren making the league bigger would maybe be beneficial in the short term because its something a bit different from what we're used to. whether or not the attendences will stay higher im not so sure.
  20. what a shite game. watched it in the pub and found more interest in some half time darts. glad i didnt spend my cash on it
  21. is the east not cheaper than the south all the time?
  22. just watched the highlights again. o'brien done brilliant for both goals and can remember him skinning kovacevic 3 times. aye, it probably was a penalty but fuck it. could have easily been a few more with mclean, sutton and sheridan all with chances you'd expect them to put away
  23. im exactly the same. how much is the train? tenner or something? clarkson has to start though. thats him joint top scorer outwith the old firm - top scorers. i'd drop sheridan. thought mclean was solid at right back and should stay there. so only 1 change from the utd game
