I take it Saunders and Hammell are both ok to play? If so I would have Saunders and Reynolds at centre half with Hammell back in at left back. Gutted I'm missing this. Think it will go to extra time and if it does I'd fancy us to win it there.

Went for Jutkiewicz. We were all shite in the first half but he held the ball up quite well and took 2 goals. The second of which took him about 3 swipes before he got it in. Fuck it though - 2 goals

I can see us losing one of them for sure, most likely Saturday. We haven't got the best record against St Mirren. I'd be happy with a loss on Saturday and a win on Tuesday even though I can only make the Saturday game.

Stop taling pish. Who got them into the position of being favourites? United were pish in the few years before Levein arrived. The last 2 seasons they finished comfortably in the top 6 and were in the race for 3rd up until the last few games. If anything United are bottlers but Levein is far from failing at United.

I canne believe Moutouakil got MOM for the Hibs game either. I've liked the look of Saunders though and I think we would be weaker without him at set pieces. He seems to win a lot in the air. Apart from that I quite like the look of Jays team. I don't think Gannon will drop Yass therefore Hately will continue to play in front of the defence. I do think he will try something different up top though.

I canne be arsed reading all this thread. We just wereny at the races today. Thought Coke had a bad game and this affected us badly. The defenders got caught out with slack passing as Coke wasn't as available as he usually is. A fair show of stigs at fir park today

Does anyone know if there is a student concession? With Gannon I wouldn't be surprised if the centre halfs were Hutchinson and Saunders but nobody deserves to be dropped from the back 4 against Rangers. I would also keep Forbes in and Sutton should definetley start against Utd. Same line up from the Rangers game but I would be tempted to see McHugh in for Murphy.

Well looking forward to this. I have no idea what the team will be but running through it in my head I find that there are more players I'd like to see starting than there are positions. Can't see us winning but I think we could hold them to a 1-1 with Forbes or Murphy getting the goal.

Exactly! Like Dee I can't see him getting a bigger club than decent championship team playing as a centre half but if he shows promise in some of the other roles he's been playing recently he has the potential to go on to better things. I just can't imagine him playing at centre half for a big club.

A guy I know who is on placement with South Lanarkshire Council (said he was doing some work on it) told me about this last Wednesday. He's no a Motherwell fan so I thought he was winding me up.
