  1. I’m not sure what angle you’re looking at but the scorer is yards inside and there are 6 Motherwell players, including Kelly, playing him on. It’s not even close to being offside.
  2. You need to remember the criteria they look for: Did the pull impede the player? Did the player have any prospect of getting to the ball? Does the player play for Celtic or Rangers? (most important)
  3. VAR can’t overrule the ref, they can only ask them to look at it again to see if they want to change their initial decision. Paton knew he was at risk of going off as he looked up to check the colour of the card when he was booked.
  4. Yes mate, that’s been the rule for as long as I can remember.
  5. You can’t be offside from a goal kick.
  6. Same happened to me, lol. Assumed we’d lost, started reading on here and found out we’d equalised.
  7. On the Paton red card, watch Paton when he gets booked. He looked up to see what colour the card was as he knew he’d caught the guy high up. He’s a clown.
  8. 2 penalties, Taylor staying on the pitch and over 10 minutes of injury time. Even Celtic fans will struggle to spin that as the officials being against them.
  9. Kelly was fine at the penalty as his left heel was on, or above, the goal line.
  10. SOD didn’t start today though and it was one of the worst performances we’ve had for a long time. You seem to have an issue with SOD, which is fair enough, but at least get the basic facts right.
  11. Did you miss just about every other outfield player doing the same for the other 80 minutes? Hoofing the ball was obviously Kettlewell’s tactic for the game. Players were literally taking a touch and then launching it forward to nobody.
  12. No, if an opponent did that it would be a foul. The match is still ongoing when the goalkeeper has the ball in his hands which is why if there is an injury, for example, the goalkeeper needs to put the ball out of play to stop the game.
  13. The ball is still in play when the keeper is holding it.
  14. At the time I thought VAR might bring it to the referees attention. Was an unbelievably daft thing to do.
  15. Yes, Theo Blair. Bair Spittal to score the next.
  16. So constantly going up and down the line and making a goal saving challenge didn’t impact the game? It’s fair enough if you don’t like him but at least be factual about his performance.
  17. I think Furlong is out of contract at Brighton so there could be a chance of getting him on a permanent basis if they don’t offer him anything.
  18. Hearts binned Snodgrass when Naismith came in as interim manager.
  19. If you look at how wide the grass cutting line is at the bottom compared to the top it puts the offside line into perspective. The further away points look closer together. Possibly clutching at straws but it would be highly unusual to get the benefit of any doubt against them, lol.
  20. That’s never a second yellow for Slattery. Wasn’t even a foul.
  21. Should have been a penalty if that hadn’t gone in. Doubt we’d have got it though.
  22. All the decent defending of the first half undone within about a minute of the second.
  23. Stupid foul from Slattery and horrendous positioning from Kelly.
  24. That could well be the sticking point. Popular opinion seems to be that he should be offered it until the end of the season but he seems like a confident guy so he might think he deserves longer. With his results so far he’s in a decent bargaining position.
