Had enough chances to win 3 games. Poor finishing, bad luck and poor decision making with the final ball cost us the win. Didn’t concede though so we’re a point better off than we were at the start of the day.

If KVV took all of his chances he wouldn’t be playing for us. If he takes 1 and we win I’ll be happy.

The English window closes today.
I don't know whether a Scottish club can sign someone who was in contract when the Scottish window shut or not but it is a possibility.
From ESPN talking about England:
Clubs in all leagues will still be able to sign players as free agents after the deadline, and as long as they are not officially attached to any club on Thursday, Sept. 1.

If it is Moult, then I think the only ways the paperwork can go through are either (1) the deal was actually done last night, with the medical completed down the road with Louis still in England, and they wanted to wait until he’s actually in Scotland to make the announcement, or (2) he’s negotiating an exit from Burton, so he can sign for us today as a free agent
I’m sure you need to be a free agent before the window closes to be allowed to register for another club outwith the window.

Didn’t he just give some details then???
I think he means Steven Hammell isn’t giving any details. I’m not sure how this can happen if the window is closed. Is there a loophole?

Yer point is
What is it that makes you think Aarons wasn’t Hammell’s signing (despite him saying it was and being here in 2020) and that it was down to the head of recruitment (who wasn’t here when Aarons previously was)?

What this signing tells u is the head of recruitment is still the same as before and he’s not an actual SH signing
The head of recruitment that didn’t join the club until 2021?

On checking back you're right. He appeared 8 times for us, starting in all of them but only played the full 90 minutes on 3 occasions.
Might have been worth checking before commenting.

I can't remember much about him except that he was fast and injured or unfit for a fair chunk of his loan.
He signed for us on 31st January 2020 and the league was cut short on 13th March. That’s a period of 6 weeks where he had 7 appearances so I think you must be thinking of someone else.

Morris managed 3 simple passes two of which went backwards, lost possession twice and underhit (another) cross in 33 minutes today. Absolutely chronic.
Morris can’t be trusted with the ball, even when he made simple passes there were better options. His run when we had the break with Efford was abysmal for an experienced player, he ran into an area where Efford couldn’t get the ball to him. I’d rather see a youngster get a chance than waste time on him.

Poor performance, but it was going to come at some point. Hopefully once the new signings are up to speed and joined by a couple of others we’ll have a stronger starting 11 and more strength in depth.

Livi down to 10 men.

I hope with Hammell coming in we don't need to get any young players from the old firm any more as that would be a major kick in the sack for every young player he has worked with at the club.
Nah would rather have a youngster from us promoted to the first team than any young old firm player so they have a good season with us and shift him on make cash out us?Nope no way.
Mikey Johnston’s 23 so a bit different from an academy prospect.

Brilliant team performance with everybody giving their all. Well done Stevie Hammell.

Can only assume that Sod is too far off match sharpness .
on paper there’s not an awful lot that suggests any change to formation
Yes, it was mentioned on Sportsound that O’Donnell hasn’t had any game time during pre-season. He’ll be nowhere near match fit.
-
This is an absolute embarrassment. No fitness, no ability and no fight in the team.

I see the whiners are back out in force. 6-0 is a sore one but no team in Scotland could have lived with Celtic today. They had to have a convincing win as all the media focus from here on in will be on Rangers and the Europa final. Our players having beers in the dressing room on Wednesday should have told people our season was done at that point.
-
We’ve made this second half unbelievably easy for Rangers. As soon as Alexander said the players had been given a few days off I feared this type of half-arsed performance.

“More Saturday games” aren’t any use when people have already made arrangements for the game on the Sunday. Does he really think anybody will believe that?

I can only imagine the ref has to book someone for the interaction with the fans, it is usually the scorer who is first there, it wasn’t in this case but he took the traditional option.
It looked as if the referee went round the team looking for somebody to book before asking Shields who scored and then just booking Lamie as the easy option.
-
Never doubted it for a second. Get the round you Livi. Hahahahah

100%. Watching the incident time and again Gordon, does Mugabi actually make any contact with the Hibs' player?
He goes off injured about 5 minutes later so I’m pretty sure there was contact.
-
Stupid tackle from Mugabi. Harsh red but even Mugabi on a yellow for a full game is suicidal.
-
That was awful. Passing was horrendous and even when they found a man the first touch was as bad as I’ve seen from professional players.

Have they being told to close or have they taken this decision themselves?
