If you give away cheap goals and don’t take your chances then that’s what happens. Hearts as a side are a level well above us and that’s why they took the points today. They have forward players like Boyce who is clinical at this level and a top quality goalkeeper in Gordon playing behind a better centre half pairing than we can put out.

We’ve got a long way to go before we can start taking points against the ‘better’ sides regularly.

Unfortunately for us we’re now into an international break then we’ve got Celtic next so it’ll be a good few weeks before we can realistically hope to get back on track.

Think you’re going a wee bit OTT here.  Those clinical Hearts forwards didn’t score from open play and one of them missed a penalty. Both of their goals were the result of uncharacteristic mistakes from Liam Kelly and when your keeper makes mistakes you’re in trouble. We had a really poor first half but the second was fairly even. We didn’t do enough to deserve anything from the game but I see no reason why we should fear Hearts when they come to Fir Park.

I am not 100% sure I know KVV was booked for diving but after seeing it again Steven McLean seem to wait a few seconds suggesting that assistant referee had seen the dive, anyway my point if that’s true then the assistant are very good at seeing at any Motherwell infringements but not a blatant penalty for us or their goal being offside!!

I thought it looked like McLean was going to let it go until a couple of Rangers players got in his ear and he then decided to book him.

How do vaccine passports figure in clinical trials?

How does being double vaccinated make you safer to be around?

We are told the vaccine doesnt stop you gettingthe virus. We are told the vaccine doesnt stop you spreading the virus to others, so Im not sure what a vaccine passport brings to the table?

I dont think its an unreasonable question to ask.

We are told the vaccine ensures you dont get as ill, dont die and dont end up in hospital. Thats the reason I got It. So Im certainly not an anti vaxxer David Icke nutjob as is being alluded to above.

The vaccine doesn’t guarantee you won’t catch Covid but studies have shown double vaccinated people are 3 times less likely to get it. Also, the vaccinated will potentially be less likely to pass it on due to having a smaller viral load therefor shedding less of the virus.

Grimshaw scores a 1 yarder and now he's the solution?

    Don't think so.

Listen, he got us the points today but he is not the required level of quality over 5, 6, 7 games never mind a season.

There are players that are better than Grimshaw at the club that aren't good enough to base our midfield around.

Any decent Motherwell team will have Grimshaw no where near it.

Sorry about the pouring of cold water but it's just a fact.

I’m not sure you know what a fact is.

  5. O’Donnell was outstanding last night. His attitude and work rate at the end of what must have been a difficult few days were immense. As a Motherwell player keeping a Rangers player out the team he was an easy target but fair play to Steve Clarke for sticking with him and publicly backing him.

In the League cup they beat Celtic at Parkhead and in the Scottish Cup they beat Rangers at Ibrox.

    Not much luck involved there.

It was Ross County who put Celtic out of the League Cup.
