To put this into context - this is a part-time team whose season hasn’t started yet against a full-time team 7 games into the season. Absolutely pathetic and there is zero confidence in that team for a penalty shoot-out.

Would have been nice to see the players getting a boot up the arse at HT there instead of standing about with heads down.

The deal with Celtic is probably already done and if it is Turnbull must be wondering what he’s getting into after last night. Losing to a team with a fraction of their budget, Lennon throwing players under the bus to cover his own failings and stating that some of the players don’t want to be there, rumours of poor coaching and players taking on private coaches, and a majority of Celtic fans now want Lennon sacked after another European failure. All of that along with the pressure of going for 10 in a row this season doesn’t suggest that going to Celtic is a great career choice.

Maybe Celtic will need to reconsider their signing targets with no CL money coming in.

Seems to have worked at all the clubs Hughes has been at, at similar times. I know people who played for Craigneuk Colts who McCafferty was involved with and there were always stories about him. He also stayed up the road from me in the 90’s when he did his moonlight flit to Ireland and it was well known why he went. There’s no way Hughes wouldn’t have known about the rumours.

Seem to be a few unhappy players just now. Long, Watt, Polworth and whoever else Robinson was having a go at with his playing with 7 players chat. I don’t think this will end well for Robinson.

Teams are happy to let us have the lions share of possession as they know there is virtually no chance of us doing anything with it. The substitutions were ridiculous and turned the game in Accies favour. Every substitution weakened the team.

Game changing substitutions by Robinson.

Great debut from O’Donnell. Made a huge difference to that side of the park. Lamie was much improved on the left as well. Campbell and Turnbull were quality in midfield and it was a promising performance overall.

That was poor again. Robinson better hope Callum Lang makes a difference as we look like we’re going to struggle this season.
