  1. I’m a bit disappointed that we didn’t get the “big target man” that Robinson said we need to progress with the new style of play. It would have made sense to use the rest of this season to work on that and hopefully hit the ground running next season.
  2. Scott Mullen saying Bigirimana deal almost done and nobody else coming in. Edit - Beaten to it
  3. Sounds like it’s the first time the guy has ever watched a game of football.
  4. If you look at the original post that I responded to you might understand the context a bit better.
  5. I’d have had him out before Christmas. It’s then down to those in charge to make the right choice for his replacement.
  6. If you can provide a list of everybody who will apply then I’m sure people will give opinions on who their preferred choice would be. If you don’t know who’ll apply then it’s a bit of a daft question.
  7. Surely Robinson has been here long enough to have implemented his own style of play and have the type of players he needs to do so? It sounds as if he’s making it up as he goes along.
  8. Robinson shows no sign of having any type of long term plan and really needs to go now. If we were going through a shit time because he was trying to build something that might be acceptable but it just seems to be one shambles after another with the odd surprise decent performance.
  9. Nobody is getting ahead of themselves. People within the club think this is a special crop of youngsters. If you feel the need to try to pick holes in that then crack on but I think I’ll take their opinion over yours.
  10. Boxers can come back from a detached retina so hopefully it won’t be a career ending injury.
  11. It would be a bit harsh to fine players for following instructions.
  12. So you’re saying Robinson’s decision to rest players against Celtic was correct? 0 points from 6 suggests otherwise.
  13. It couldn’t have been an worse. If you make a controversial decision to rest players and effectively write a game off in order to win the next game and then lose that game, surely it’s been the wrong decision? Play the strongest team and the best case scenario is that we take 6 points out of 6. With writing the Celtic game off the best we could achieve is 3 points out of 6 and we’ve ended up with 0.
  14. You’re welcome to your opinion but I think we should have played our strongest team against Celtic and attempted to make a game of it. Put up a good performance against them and we go into today’s game with confidence instead of rolling over against them and going into today’s game flat.
  15. I’m not sure what your point is? Obviously we could play our strongest team against any team in the league and lose. The point is that we played a weakened team in a game where we would need our strongest team to be at their best to take anything from the game. We effectively wrote it off before a ball was kicked.
  16. Those substitutions were embarrassingly bad. Schoolboy stuff.
  17. I’m not sure where you’re seeing anybody comparing results. Care to expand?
  18. I agree but I don’t think anybody mentioned anything about us drawing when we went down to 10. Also on the comparing apples and oranges part, nobody’s actually compared anything apart from AndyP. The point made by siebsbarmyarmy was that after watching Rangers again he can’t fathom how we lost 7-1 as they are utterly shite. I agree with him.
  19. Maybe I should have said that it’s a bit of a stretch to say that Dundee being in the lead when they went down to 10 men was significant as the lead lasted less than a second after play restarted? Apologies if you were confused.
  20. It’s a bit of a stretch to say Dundee were winning when Rangers equalised from the free kick that their player was sent off for conceding.
  21. Noticed that as well. The guy is a muppet. Great result today and there were a few excellent performances. Love Grimshaw’s commitment.
