  1. Right Fraser Kerr hasn't been great but the guys playing the same position as Yassin fucking Moutaouakil. Also I think you might put Andy Smith in in place of Grabban. Or Casagolda. Or Steve McDonald. Also what about "the Flask" who played in two games, once coming on as a sub against Kilmarnock, punched a guy, got sent off and was never seen again?
  2. No anyone can book a seat, it's usually just that it costs a wee bit more if you aren't a member. I haven't been to an away game yet this season; I'm looking forward to seeing us win a game.
  3. Yes! And whats more shocking, awe-inspiring and stoically confrontational than an Ironman/Tellytubby rip off?
  4. I don't think Gordon Brown has ever looked happier
  5. I thought the kit looked great yesterday. I haven't seen the real home kit in person but I'd have been very happy with that anniversary kit as our strip for the full season. Is it just the top that's for sale from the anniversary kit though aye?
  6. It probably is going to be good money for the club, especially as they seem to be going out of their way to get the deal in place before the final. It does seem mad though that it's got to the stage that a pawn broker has enough of an advertising budget to be sponsoring an SPL team It could be worse, it could be one of those loan-shark companies you see advertised on the telly, but it'd probably make me more likely to buy the anniversary top. I was probably going to wait to see the new home kit before deciding but I might just go for the preorder on the 125th kit.
  7. Just seven of you so far. And hopefully you'll get to watch eleven of the biggest boilers in the Motherwell reserves and U19s kick lumps out of that Celtic team.
  8. It's a pity that isn't being used as the home strip for next season, it looks good. When will we be seeing the actual kit for next year then?
  9. I got the season ticket renewal form in today and I don't think that's the actual strip for next season. It's a retro design like the others say, but it says its only available in adult sizes which would seem mad for an actual kit as you'd think at least half of the ones we'd sell would be for kids' sizes. Plus it has no sponsors and no badge, just the 'MFC' logo.

    Cup Final Tickets

Does anyone know if there will be a late opening at either the ticket office or this place in the town centre on Thursday? I know they've done it before for the Europa games but I haven't heard anything about it for this one? Sorry if its already been answered, but I'm in work all week and won't get a chance to go up otherwise.
  11. Absolutely fucking pathetic performance today. Don't know what else to add to that. The players should be ashamed of that performance.
  12. Very true, and all at Fir Park this time so no extra cash having to go out to pay for using another stadium. We must be doing well financial this season, even if you were to take into account maintenance of the pitch and stands and also that we probably didn't get as big a sum for shirt sponsorship as we normally would seeing as how last minute the deal was. All the better to keeping Sutton and maybe even Jennings too, wouldn't you think?
  13. I'm sure the players on the day would be doing their utmost to win the game. But if we're playing a cup final the week after there is no way our first team should be out there. I'm sure it won't come to it but it would be pretty funny if the league was decided by us trying to get horsed off Celtic to get the cup place for the Europa league and at the same time Killie trying to get gubbed by an even bigger margin by Rangers to get the fourth placed Europa place through the league.
  14. Has Stevie Hammell's head always been that big?
  15. Quite right. I admire the OP's optimism and if these players were at a club the size of a Hearts or a Hibs then those valuations would be about right, but the fact is if a club came in with a bid of £500,000 for Randolph we would be in no position to knock them back or hold out for a fee closer to what he'd be worth at a bigger club. We are the bargain basement. Just because we've stumbled upon a couple of gems doesn't mean that we're going to be seeing any big fees come our way.
  16. Aye, its a semi-final all the fans will be singing as long as we aren't getting pumped. For the "Singing Section" in the north stand read "Smoke-Bomb Section".

    Maurice Ross ?

Yes I thought he played pretty well. Good to see he was capable of lasting the full 90 minutes, although you'd think the original plan would be to bring him off before the end but Gunning's injury forced him to play on. There was a couple of occasions where Humphrey would have the ball and looked as though he was waiting for the overlap and it just didn't come, but the longer they play together the less that kind of thing will happen.

    Hampden

Presumably they've split between the north and the west stand for us so they can keep prices up for the north and have a cheaper family section in the west stand. If there was any sense and if they weren't such greedy c***s they would just have a family section in the north stand so there might be some chance of an atmosphere developing with a big block of the two teams' supporters across the one big stand. Of course if there was any fucking sense at all there's no way this game would be at Hampden.
  19. If thats the only thing we have to complain about then tonight was a very good night indeed Same again on Saturday please.
  20. I think this is a really good idea. There are plenty of fans out there that don't go to all the games for one reason or another and this would be a good way of letting those fans get a discount on the Pay at the Gate price but without having to commit to the full 18 league games to get the benefit of a season ticket. It'd also get more fans on the mailing list that currently only season ticket holders are on for more info on offers and that. It could be worked in a couple of different ways too, you could have it so you'd buy a package of 5 or ten games or whatever, or you could have like a membership deal where you could get a discount on the gate price by buying a membership card up front. Say you can pay £100 up front and then pay like £10 or £12 at the gate for every game you go to. It'd increase the amount of money coming in during the close-season from people that don't buy season tickets. Also, if we end up in a position where we've got a nothing mid-week game that we'd normally get a 3000 crowd for we could let these folk in for free as a thank you/way of boosting the attendance at some pishy St. Mirren game.
  21. Hmm sounds good. What do you mean by limited edition? Will that be our home top for next season? Or just some daft one-off thing that'll be put out next to a puma template home top that we'll wear for every other game during the year? Because that would be annoying.
  22. Don't know yet, if I didn't it would be over cost/work rather than not being happy about the standard of football or anything like that. Granted, the football has been poor but it hasn't got me down to the point that I wouldn't want to go any more.
  23. Anyone involved with this know when we're likely to hear results from it, or when the folks involved will be talking to the club about the results? Would be interested to know if the fans in general are as negative as some on here about aspects of the club.
  24. That's exactly what I was thinking. What's the damage of playing on the grass one week earlier (or maybe a week and a half earlier if we were thinking our next home game would be the league game against Aberdeen), how much less grass would that give us to play on?
