Kilmarnock Vs Motherwell Discussion Thread

Kilmarnock away this Saturday.

Our result at the weekend was excellent, but it's worth noting that Killie nabbed a point from Tannadice which isn't too shabby either.

I'm thinking that this game has a point written all over it, hopefully a score draw if that's the case.

Anyone think we need to change anything about the team from the weekend? I heard McCall saying that Higdon was carrying a knock, but hopefully he's okay to play even if he doesn't last the full match again. The more game-time he gets, the fitter he'll become.

Also, is anyone thinking of going? I'll be there, and it'll be my first trip to Rugby Park.

it'll be a tricky game. i don't think killie are going to be anywhere as bad as the experts are predicting, shiels seems to know what he doing in the transfer market and clancy, kelly, dayton and o'leary are all good players.

on the other hand we should be very confident. with the pace we have on the counter playing away from home should suit us and i don't think we need to lose any sleep over ben hutchinson. hopefully we can go down there, get the three points and enjoy at least another week of letting old firm mongos know who is top of the league.

I'd settle for a point to be honest (unless we hammer them for 89 minutes and then concede late!!), as all the teams are still finding their feet, a point on the road is generally acceptable and I don't want to be greedy! I also don't think Killie will be as bad this year as some pundits are predicting

gutted im missing this will be stuck at work less than 3 miles away.

don't have a clue who killie's goal threat is going to be or who even plays up front so hopefully that will work for us and law, hump (esp if its vs gary hay) and murphy should take full advantage of a big pitch (seems big anyway) in a 2-0 'Well win

Regardless of opposition Kenny Shiels as manager has still not won a competitive game with Killie....so that is a concern. I hope he doesn't break the streak on Saturday.

Killie pretty much gubbed us the last time we were in Ayrshire. Could have been Mixu's last game. Totally different team, but also a bit of an unknown quantity. I'm sure McCall or Black would have been at Tannadice on Sunday. I think Shiels will come good and I don't expect them to be anywhere near the drop zone. In saying that I can't see them finishing as high as fifth either.

1-1 draw with Law on the scoresheet for us.

Sadly I reckon we will be in the usual away fan during the goal but the best Killie trip I have been at was when were in the Main Stand and O'Brien got a double.

Should be an easy win for the 'Well and hopefully a good turn out!
