They're Aberdeen, not the Brazil side of the 1970's, we're more than capable of going up there and turning them over. Shoud take up a decent crowd for what's a good away day. We can also hardly complain about the draw either which has been kind in recent years, we had fairly simple run to the cup final a few years ago and had an even easier one last year which we somehow made an arse of. As long as it's not moved for telly I'm happy, chance to get revenge for last season. Bring it on. Agreed we gave them a good going over in the 3-3 game and apart from the last 10 mins they were mince. More difficult to beat than in previous seasons but certainly no great shakes. Although coming from one of, if not the least credible people on here, perhaps I shouldn't be surprised. how many people actually go up to aberdeen? we had about 100 the other month, maybe 200 when daley scored and 100 again when jeffers scored. it'll be good to take a decent crowd up there for a change and it's a proper away day which means the majority of people that go up will get a good booze in them which should make for a cracking atmosphere. it's a hard draw but it's a chance to get a bit of revenge for last season and get one over judas brown. throw in the 91 connection and it could be a legendary day out. 6 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Does a visit to Aberdeen interest me? Even in the SPL? Yes, it can depending on day and kick off of game. Can I pretend I'm happy about a very difficult draw to a ground I've been to so many times when our possible opponents could have been nearly any other team or ground in the country? Nah. One thing about travelling home and away for years, I'm sure you will be aware, is the hope of going somewhere or playing someone new. Not a team that we will play on the 1st and 26th December as well as having played once before this season. I always hope for a wee bit more from the Scottish Cup due to the number if teams involved in the 4th Round. Inverurie and Stranraer away spring to mind. The draw, and I can only speak for me, is a total disapointment.
