Gav

I think like some other folk you are failing to separate the incident itself and how the Compliance Officer goes about his business. It is the latter that most folk have a problem with.

This!

He also seems to disappear for weeks, even months, then is back with a vengeance for 2 or 3 weeks.

Wasn't a foul during the game. Isn't a foul now (the IFAB are not going to meet for a few months now, and unless I missed it taking away "keeper protection" in the air is not on the agenda).

The Only reason this is being discussed and he has been hit with a 2 game ban, as those that are expected to promote our game have no idea the rules and what is and isn't allowed.

Very true indeed. Even within the same game he'll pick on one incident and miss others equally as bad if not worse. A lot seems to depend on whether the commentators seem to want to highlight an incident or not.

Higdon banned for a celebration we have seen a million times.

Randolph banned for something we have seen a million times.

Divers and cluggers allowed free reign. Bizarre.

They know wee Motherwell will generally just bend over and take it. If it was celtic, rangers, hearts for example there's more chance they'd kick up a fuss over it.
