Between Vigurs and Ainsworth for me. How the sponsors gave it to Hutch

Vigurs, turning into the type of player that I hoped he would be.

Vigurs had a great 1st half and had a cool head in the 2nd, keeping possesion when all around were booting the ball into space or the stand

Gave it to Craig Reid on the basis that it was his being moved into midfield that shored things up when it looked like they might get an equaliser...

I thought Vigurs, Ainsworth and Lasley all had good games. How Hutch got MotM was a puzzle.

I'm still no convinced with Reid.

 

Vigurs one of the few players to show composure and class on the ball but Ainsworth was my motm. Posed a threat throughout and had that wee bit of quality to make the difference.

I like Reid, he doesnt look out of place at right back or in front of the defence.

 

Vigurs for me though.

 

Also funny how some give it to Ainsworth yet the guys around me were giving him dogs abuse. I thought he was OK, not amazing not terrible, but nowhere near as bad as some were making out.

I thought Faddy, Vigurs and Ainsworth were excellent. Reid is also starting to really look the part. However, I also went for ZFA- I'm not always his biggest fan but I thought he was outstanding today.

ZFA was good for 20 mins, apart from that he looked lost as usual.

Vigurs was superb in the first half, virtually every touch he had was pure quality. Second half we were over run in midfield so he didn't shine as brightly.

 

I thought Hollis was really composed today. Came for all the crosses, made a couple of good saves and skilled Stevie May with his footwork!

 

I'll go with Vigurs.

The boy is a lovely football player. If he can improve on the defensive side of his game and we can get players to make the right runs more often in front of him he could be devestating for us.

Vigurs or Reid for me, but the latter gets my vote for shoring up a midfield that had gone into hiding when the going got tough.

Agree with you but maybe if our defence could improve on the defending, how good a player could Vigurs be for us? His composure on the ball has really impressed me recently.Wasn't a fan after his first few games but his languid style and improved workrate had won me over. Good player, wand of a left foot, club of a right, but has won me over.

Big john is still sexiest player in team if not whole league!
