The team we fielded against ICT was set up to attack a struggling Championship team.

While I hope we are still going to field a team designed for attacking, we need to be a bit more tactically astute against Utd and be prepared to defend more often.

Always an advocate of ‘you shouldn’t change a winning team’ but, football has evolved in most parts.

True.

I dont mind tinkering around the edges for tactical reasons, but unless you are in regular European competition and playing every midweek / weekend, Im not a fan of squad rotation.

Unfortunately, we blew our chance of that, so it would be nice to see some consistency of selection and see if we can develop an "identity" in the way we play.

Could be same team or might be recall for Deano with either Tierney or efford going to bench but both were very good on wed night. A difficult decision for Hammy but a good dilemma to have

Did I read that Effords was played on the right side? Maybe he needs a few games there to see how he does??

Why are we wearing our away kit at home ffs? :wallbash:

It's old school.

In Scotland, it used to be the home team that changed. Fir Park, midweek under the lights, white kit. Classic.

Still, it's nice that you managed to find something else to moan about even before kick off.
