joewarkfanclub
As soon as I saw who was in charge today my heart sank. He is without doubt one of the fussiest referees in the league and possibly the poorest, which is saying something! I was literally pulling my hair out (whats left of it) all afternoon. Some of his decisions were absolutely mindblowing. You do have to wonder at times what it is he is seeing? Remember this is the guy that sent Dan Casey off for handbags v Kilmarnock and when VAR intervened, convinced himself he was right! Falkirk played to it all afternoon and he bought it every time. Very depressing so early in the season!
Orinoco
Barely into the new season and it appears our officials have managed to be even worse than last season. Clancey's performance today was equally embarrassing, bizzare and down right abysmal. Surely the clubs need to act and get Collum removed. He is failing in his duties to improve standards.

Missing the Gogic handball was embarassing. The time it took him and VAR to award it even worse. No issues with the majority of our yellow cards, but letting Gogic and some of their other players away with similar offences became very frustrating. Im was sure their second goal was offside. Need to see it again on Sportscene. The Lowry incident is a joke. Not to pull it back for the foul is bad enough, but to then stop the game bool tge player and make Lowry stand at the side for the minute and then give a drop ball from the wrong spot? Really poor stuff.
Wellfan91
He let the St Mirren #8 away with murder, 6 fouls before be brandished the yellow card in the 90th minute. Warned there goalie of the 5 second rule at least 8 times failed to book him. An absolute moron of a guy, and miles off it at this level. No chance, my friend. After the shocking events of our last game against Celtic in May, I actually asked myself what was the point of carrying on watching us since many matches last year were obviously fixed. Fortunately, my anger dispelled those thoughts. I suppose all we can do is play our stuff under King Alfred and hope we can further embarrass our officials. After all, almost the whole of Scottish fandom (apart from Sellick and Hibs supporters) knows Nicholson did not handle the ball to give Celtic the penalty, hence the general btl delight on YT when Celtic were pumped in Europe on Wednesday. Nicholson did handle the ball. However, he didnt do it deliberately. He didnt make his body bigger. And he didnt gain an advantage as his hand was against his head, hence the onward direction of the ball. Also, the penalty wasnt given in real time and there was no definitive camera angle available to the referee that proved conclusively that he had handled it. So although he did handle it. It was still a shite decision!

It was still a shite decision! Yes, you're right, I should have said handled deliberately/consciously . His arm was pushed up (foul) by the Celtic player and Sam headed the instantaneous deflection out for a shy. Whole thing stank, as you obviously agree, and we come to the eternal killer question: would MFC have been given a penalty at the other end in those circumstances? QED, I think.
