Hearts v Motherwell 10/05/2025

Going by the rules it is the correct decision but it’s just this jobsworth examining every single goal with a magnifying glass to find the slightest thing that’s the issue.

VAR was brought in to correct “clear and obvious” errors but that along with the one that went our way last week was not “clear and obvious”.

If we ditched VAR tomorrow I would be delighted. It is a cancer of modern football.

Var definitely ruining game. Can't celebrate goals now. Watching Scottish championship games much better experience. Think we need to stop rewinding build up to goals for extensive periods and forensically looking to disallow goals. Think we need to just use it for obvious errors and goal line technology.

That’s it exactly you can’t celebrate goals now and that feeling of pure elation has been ripped away by VAR. Every goal you score you’re just waiting to see the ref with his finger to his ear and the screens showing “Checking possible whatever”.

Never mind spend more money and upgrade it, just get it in the fucking bin.
