That is just not how football operates, rarely if ever can I think of a manager who chooses to stay at a smaller club when the big guys come calling. If we continue as we are until seasons end I fully expect to start next season with a different manager. So let's enjoy it while we can and leave the worrying about JBAs departure until it happens. Correct, if we continue playing as we are and finish in the top half of the table or do well in the Scottish Cup then it is inevitable that bigger clubs will come calling for JBA. And he would go if/when that happens because that’s just the way it is. We’ve seen it before and we’ll see it again. However there is no point worrying about it. As I said yesterday about Tam Cowan’s dampener pish on Radio Scotland after the game just let’s enjoy having a team that plays good football and a manager who seems intelligent, has a clear plan and focus on how he wants us to play. Make the most of it instead of fretting about when it’s all going to end because doing that only spoils it for yourself and the rest of the support. I can’t stand constant negativity neither I can.

Andy H
I think if we qualify for Europe next season, that might be something that keeps JBA with us. I also think this is now the way we are going to play. Wimmer wanted to start it but couldn't with the shite we had. I can't see the board reverting to type and brining in another Kettlewell, they have seen how well this system works so will be looking for another JBA. Lets be honest, you are an up and coming manager, you want to eventually manage a bigger club, you see how well JBA has done here and how it has raised his stock, who wouldn't want to come?

Thats it now on the banned list. They wouldn't do that if a Scots manager was in post at Parkhead; highly unlikely one would be of course. Absolutely no chance of that I don't think Aberdeen fan I work with yesterday claiming Jens has been mentioned as a replacement on their forums I honestly don't think he will be leaving to go to any Scottish team . Just wishful thinking which shows what a great job this guy is doing at Fir Park
weeyin
I'm sure everybody is mentioning Jens as a replacement, because that's the way football works and he is flavour of the month. There are plenty of other managers that play the same style, so it shouldn't be difficult to recruit one of the hundreds that implement the same philosophy. Elliott Watt has played for Wolves, Carlisle Utd, Salford City, Burton Albion and St Johnstone, and I heard him in an interview saying every one of those teams (including Carlisle Utd) had managers that played the same way - which is why he found the transition to be straightforward. If Carlisle can find a manager to implement it, surely Celtic or Aberdeen can find someone too. It would be ironic if they want to implement something progressive by following the well worn path of poaching a rival boss.
