Did Glencairn not play in white top with navy knickers ?

As they weren't SFA members their colours were not registered. If you have any evidence written or otherwise Dave at Historical Kits will be only too happy to hear from you. Any information that can help fill in the missing kits is very welcome. :D

Just this, and have no idea where it intially came from, but am sure someone (BK perhaps), intimated it's the earliest known football pic taken in the town and due to the white looking top it is likely to be Glencairn rather than Wee Alpha or the newly formed Motherwell Football and Athletic Club.

Yeah i've seen that pic many times before but without a caption or some written conformation from a reliable source we can't list it as a kit. It is very difficult to find information about early strips as reporters at the game would need to have mentioned the team colours in the match report.
