Was in that awful sport section that they have on the STV news now.

Many players in England play for their own clubs then play for two clubs on loan in a season. I can see McCall's point.

Grella has been on the fringes of the USA national team and is viewed as one with a lot of potential.

It more a war with the FA reading it than FIFA. The FA ignore FIFA's law regarding it when it comes to emergency loans (any loans of 93 days or less) so a player in theory could play for 5, 6, 7 or even more clubs in England.

Silly that they can play for more club in their home FA than moving away from their home FA

Waste of time, rules are rules. I'm sure it stopped Andy Webster signing with Dundee Utd a few seasons ago when he played with Rangers then Bristol City and Dundee Utd tried to get him in the January window.

Emergency loans do not count in England (only if they leave in England). An emergency loan is any loan that lasts 93 days or less. THis is the main problem McCall has about the whole affair. As a player can play for a handful of clubs if he stays within England but only two if he wants to move away from England.
