  1. Past hour
  2. We are stumbling towards the finishing line, and I'm not overly bothered how we get there. It would be satisfying to do it under our own steam but I'd be equally happy if Hibs hibs it for us. That said, it would be great to get a point or three in front of our own fans.
  3. Well, as we all know as 'Well fans, it's the hope that kills you, but the players owe us one for yesterday's huge disappointment. I can't believe they want this season to fizzle out.
  4. I think it'll result in him missing 2 games. Good news for us.
  5. Is McGrath's red a 3 game suspension because it was a poor challenge he got the straight red for? If Hibs beat us to 4th without their best player and while having to play Falkirk and Rangers away and then beat us they very much deserve it.
  6. Today
  7. I wouldn't bank on it. He seemed really fired up last Thursday and we all know how that turned out!
  8. If you're having to travel a fair distance to home games, a late evening kick off is the last thing you want. On the way home you have to contend with diversions and road closures and may not get home until after midnight. Also, many older fans are not comfortable driving at night. Also public transport connections can be difficult or impossible. Still, a home win helps to lift the spirits.
  9. Yes. I thought his expression was a bit different from normal.
  10. Honesty can’t believe anyone truly believes it should have been a penalty. the hearts commentary team said something like - Welsh accidently kicked his head but they were stunned it went to VAR . How much money is being poured in the complete BS of VAR . Complete waste of time and money - when indeed the ref called it right initially
  11. Why don't people like Saturday night kickoffs?
  12. Thought JBA looked ultra-frustrated/raging after the match yesterday so I hope that translates to the players next Saturday. Terrible KO time, of course, because the authorities couldn't care less about the proles.
  13. I just get disgusted by the sheer dishonesty and mental gymnastics used by Collum (and the authorities generally) to justify the unjustifiable. If I'd had to suffer another year of Kettlewell hoofball and the joy-sucking effect of VAR and its subsequent crap decisions, I would probably have given up going to 'Well games, something that I never thought I would say. In his post-Falkirk interview, I thought JBA bit his tongue a bit and didn't go large on the refereeing decisions in the three games we lost to Falkirk but from the first bad one when Said's wonder goal was chalked off for nothing, it seems we have been pretty hard done to when playing them. Wasn't at Falkirk yesterday but reports of Slattery-esque simulation, a player on a yellow handling without consquence and Bairns players allowed to commit multiple fouls without a caution, it seems it was same old, same old. I doubt Slattery will hang about with a further suspension hanging over him and a very good season behind him.
  14. I was full of confidence we’d beat Hearts next week but I am pretty deflated after yesterday’s performance. I thought we were really poor yesterday. Outwith the St Mirren semi final that’s the worst we’ve been imo. Maybe we got a bit carried away with the praise post Rangers, who knows. I just hope we get it together against McInnes’s mob.
  15. The Maswanhise penalty's class. It's like watching dugs trying to operate the Large Hadron Collider, followed by 'They forgot to look at their feet'.
  16. Collum would swear the sky is green to cover mistakes and deflect. The same incidents get different decisions every week. All dressed up with whatever explanation suits at the time. No consistency. No accountability. Just clowns making it up as they go. The VAR review is pointless as well. It’s just a box ticking exercise so he can claim transparency and say they are listening. It’s the same script ever time and only pisses fans off even more. Nothing has improved. Our officials and their use of VAR has objectively ruined the spectacle and brought even more incompetence, cynicism and apathy into the game.
  17. Did he also not go down very easily?
  18. Bullshit on the hearts explanation !! the hearts player’s head is about knee height so no way you should be using your head to play the ball at that height. the guy got kicked in the head. FFS that’s why it’s dangerous play against the hearts player.
  19. I know you’re all waiting with baited breath for this
  20. I cant see that happening, 6 points and 11 goals better off with 3 to play is a very distinct advantage to us. But that said id rather we were going to Easter rd, last game with 4th place secured, so heres hoping we can take something from Hearts and Celtic, both of whom are bang average at best.
  21. As Long as we go Into the Hibs game with 4th place secured, I’ll be good with that.
  22. True. I forgot about Falkirk, but since we're taking something from Hearts, they're out the equation. Europe by 10 bells it is, then.
  23. A tall order for Falkirk as they'd need to win their 3 remaining games and we'd need to lose all three. If Hibs lose one of their remaining games then we'd almost certainly finish 4th.
  24. Not quite. Falkirk can actually still get 58 points if they win out. If it’s a draw Hibs can overtake us by winning last two games.
  25. 2-1 Celtic. That result will do us, as will the performances of both sides. Mibbe we'll be in Europe by kick-off on Saturday - get the feeling Hibs are this year's top 6 whipping boys.
  26. Looks like Celtic made hard work of that but finally zero points for Hibs today. So Hibs need to at least win 2 and draw one to overtake us. Of Course, would be much better for us to just beat Hearts and Celtic.
  27. VAR keeping up their usual standards. You couldn't trust them to check the time
