His versatility will be a big asset, and he slotted into the left attacking midfield role effortlessly. Yeah, no objection to bringing in experienced heads, but if we're splashing the cash, hopefully it's on someone who has more experience of top level football than Spencer.

A big striker I agree with, and I think Thor could be that guy if he can stay fit and is given a chance to show us what he has. On the keeper and defender? Not for me. Brad Spencer would be a strange one. Signed a new 2 year (+1 option) contract last year, and at 30, not much in the way of potential resale value.
