  1. Past hour
  2. All in the name of progress apparently That's fuckin shambolic by the way...I'm in my 40s and even I'm not particularly comfortable with all this new-fangled shite to the point that I considered not going until someone else purchased a ticket on my behalf. There will be cries of derision about the lack of a crowd in a 50000 seater stadium...the authorities should be making it easier, not harder ffs
  3. The problem with using one smartphone is that everyone has to arrive together. Seems as though this system was designed by a typical tech expert (if there is such a person), to whom the term "user friendly" means nothing. I can hear them saying "what do you mean that everyone doesn't have a smartphone. I don't understand." As there will be.
  4. Thanks Dennyc out of annoyance I called the sfa ticket line and waited about 20mins to speak to someone. what should happen is Motherwell will notify the sfa the week before the game of who has bought tickets. The sfa then update our downloaded app to show tickets as being bought and on the day of the game QR codes will appear on the app. so as long as Motherwell have sold tickets ie, to me and my 4 other family members under my email. I should get all 5 QR codes through the day of the match and then I can scan each person through the gates. I said to her what if there’s an issue with QR codes on the day and she said to contact Motherwell who will then contact the sfa who will then email out tickets to the individual. what an absolute fkn joke.
  5. Indeed!!! I quickly learned that AI is not be blindly accepted as correct.
  6. Needs to be confirmed officially but a Scotland supporting mate tells me that any tickets not transferred out of the original purchaser's App remain available on his/her phone and can be scanned at the gate to allow multiple entries. To cover kids mainly but also for those without a smartphone. That is how it has worked for him at Scotland matches anyway. But as I said, that needs to be confirmed officially to ease concerns and to limit issues on the day. The digital scheme was introduced as tickets were being copied in an attempt to allow multiple use. In fact, some purchasers were denied access as their ticket had already been scanned. Copied either with or without their knowledge.
  7. AI is typically high on the "A" and low on the "I"
  8. The fans are the last people the football authorities think of regardless of age.
  9. I googled looking for ticket help and on the SFA site it tells me “for issues with your league cup semifinal tickets, you must contact your own club directly, as they are the ones who sell and distribute tickets for their allocated section of the stadium” File too large to attach photo this was AI response but it sounds wrong from what I’ve been reading on here everyone should call/email ticketing team and get their phone ringing off the hook and their email box full so they get off their arses and help people supporters@scottishfa.co.uk +44 (0) 141 616 6000
  10. It seems you only need everyone you bought tickets for to download and register with an email address on the app when you want to transfer the tickets to them. The whole set up seems to be based on the assumption that everyone will have a smartphone and an email address etc to enable it to work smoothly. But as we know that's not always the case and it looks like there are no procedures in place to cater for those who for whatever reason dont have a suitable phone. Its the SFA so I'm not surprised its a shambles.
  11. Today
  12. They have posted a link to the SFA ticket help page. Unsurprisingly, it is of SFA use.
  13. It would be good if Motherwell FC could request SFA to publish information (FAQ) covering various situations or at least a contact number or email to address any questions that fans have regarding the purchasing process and how it relates to their circumstances.
  14. It really is a simple question. Can a phone with the App hold multiple tickets? To cater for Groups and families with young kids? I have not read anything official that confirms one person can 'sign in' others. If the answer is Yes, then that solves most issues. I suspect MFC have not got the answer either and will be seeking advice from Hampden. Hopefully common sense prevails.
  15. I’m now not sure if I can scan in my 5 people through turnstiles (2 who don’t have smart phones) on match day? I’ve been told I can by our ticket office and we can’t by the sfa website (their phones aren’t being answered)
  16. Not really the society’s roll but agree that the club should be saying something, although the instructions are quite clear on the website they do seem to be wrong about no Hampden app no ticket as my mates bought all our tickets on his without needing us all to sign up. Hopefully it’s not going to be a total riot on the day.
  17. 🤣🤣, fortunately pain receding now. JBA has cured me with our new style
  18. I think the Well Society or Brian Caldwell need to clarify things as it's ridiculous folk can't go to a gsme due to technology or not having a smartphone. It's like Kettlewell all over again.....no plan b 🤣🤣
  19. Agree. Had same issue. Can't be that difficult to get tickets for event. I'm not going to bother. Will probably try to get one for final. My elderly dad's missing out too as can't work the app. Must be a few missing out and money lost.
  20. Still not had any email confirmation from the club. I’m also locked out my account and I’ve requested a change of password and I’m not getting an email for that either. it really has been a cu@t of a day!! spoke to a couple of people I know who would have went along to the game but aren’t going to bother now due to apps and hassle etc…. Surely there will be a lot of these folk around.
  21. When I go to D5 it says my account not available for that section. Absolute farce. Hopefully one of lads can get them. Would hate to be on switchboard at fir park, can imagine it being a tad busy
  22. The Club need to let folk know how to deal....officially...with a situation like this? Also the Society should be pushing the Club to provide some clarification. If, as mentioned earlier, folk are being turned away and told to find someone with a smartphone then that is a disgrace and does not reflect well on our ticket office. You would think that every effort would be made to ensure anyone wanting to attend the game can do so. I get this is being driven by the SFA but our Club and our Society should be addressing the issues that are clearly of concern to fans looking to go to the final. The info that was provided in the press release and the off the cuff advice from the ticket staff seem to be at odds. The instructions do confirm tickets can be transferred but only to people who have also downloaded the App. No mention of one phone with multiple tickets being acceptable. No mention of children.... or others...who do not have a smartphone. Lessons to be learned here.
  23. There will probably be an app to help you remember by then
  24. Cheers pal, will try again later. It might just be my account that's blocked from buying tickets to save anyone's ears from burning! 🤣🤣
  25. Sorry pal, was just teasing. I can be a waft brick at times 🤪
  26. There was 5 sections available 2 me 'with 7 seats' available together. That was about an hour ago. I went with D5.
