The same due diligence should be put in to every appointment regardless ofnthe situation. We can't do anything about the manager leaving, but we can control not messing up the next steps.

Unfortunately, time is really not on our side. The players are off for 4 weeks, there's recruitment to be done and there will soon be a preseason upon us. We've really no time to hang around. Not ideal timing.

Correct. Generally in these situation The official line tends to be bollocks. We move on, to listen to some Motherwell fans you'd think he was some kind of messiah. The jury's out whether he was any good or not. We will never know. I'm more pissed about how it upsets our recruitment for next season which is a huge issue for us.

Give me your pitch gor brown, managed to get big cedric sent off in years gone by and didn't get ayr up , so I don't see why he's any better than any other run of the mill guy out there, that's apart from who/ what he is. John Mcglynn is a more understated guy but doubt he'd leave falkirk for us.

Imo,absolute bollocks the family thing,for whatever reason he's decided to bail out and been sounded out about the new job back home,didn't want a blemish on his CV if admitting he couldn't settle in the uk.

No thank you. He struggled under pressure and couldn't organise Dundee's defence in 2 seasons. He had a bigger budget than us to spend and his team finshed 10th. Not what we need.
