  3. As we know, most of these media or bookies lists are nonsense. Scramble together some names that are out of a job, even better if we can push for someone friendly to the paper in question. Given our recent appointments & the chairmans statement last week, it doesnt look like we will be changing course. The idea that fir park insiders would spill beans to bad journos is laughable
  4. Yep, touching the line is the criteria. I will say though, this season just passed I saw a lot of players not keeping both feet on the ground and officials didn’t see it. I think they don’t pay attention as they are fully expecting that every professional player can take a throw in properly.
  5. That's one lazy as fuck list, just pulled out of their area, as expected from them. Then they type in, "who should continue the lineage of Jens, and chuck in the first Jensen they can find.
  6. Not sure what rules you’re looking at but you’re wrong.
  7. I'd put money on 4 of these not being on any list at Motherwell.
  8. Would love to see MVG as next manager. It just seems like something that has to happen once. I think he would bring a similar vibe and presence as JBA and I prefer using first letter name abbreviations rather than Kettlewell, Alexander, Robinson, McGhee etc. It feels so much more continental. I don't think he would have seriously considered it a year ago but Jens has made the club a much more enticing proposition now.
  9. They need to create a few stories, ideally with OF links, to keep the clicks coming during the quiet period before the World Cup.
  10. I don't know why the media are bothering speculating our new manager will be appointed mid june and probably won't be linked with the job until he's announced
  11. All you need to know about The Record is that they proudly announced van der Gaag as our new boss about an hour before we formally announced JBA.
  12. IFAB disagrees: At the moment of delivering the ball, the thrower must: have part of each foot on the touchline or on the ground outside the touchline
  13. Woodward and Bernstein can rest easy. Valakari: Not from what I've seen, and unlikely he'd move. van der Gaag: Jesus wept, not again. Thelin: Definitely not. McGlynn: Not sure he could take us any higher than we already are. Same old, same old, with a predictably awful record against the top 3 this season. Jensen: Who knows? And whether it's him or another new face, that's the exciting part.
  14. I think we ought to start our own rumours as surely we can do a better job than some of the papers at this rate 🤔 I spent time scrolling through transfermarkt and have a few names I could punt out there 😂
  15. The Daily Record has our top 5 list . Valakari and Van Der Gaag along with Jimmy Thelin and John McGlynn. The other guy is Henrik Jensen the Burnley assistant . Apparently a clone of Jens Berthel Askou
  16. Maybe rod stewsrt is a possibility? The dinner was for discussions? Sure he could do a job.
  17. Rules are clear your feet must be behind the white lines
  18. Yesterday
  19. Ralston’s heel was on the line so it wasn’t a foul throw. There were plenty of issues with the penalty decision but that wasn’t one of them.
  20. 6 points next season + weve to shut up bout refs 😂😂
  21. How much did Celtic ask for?
  22. As they as they are a good replacement, I'm OK with waiting.
  23. Let’s hope for a speedy replacement then

    Our New Manager

Cheapest club in the World. If they were a person they’d be Tam from Still Game
  25. I don't know why they even bother with those. Maybe it appeases their fans.

    Our New Manager

Apparently Celtic made an offer to Motherwell with regards compensation. Shock and horror that it was derisory and we said “no thanks and go away”
