  1. Past hour
  2. I do believe after a poor run for a long number of years a mental barrier was broke down the day we won there 2 seasons ago with Kettlewell. After 27 years of no wins there excluding the play off I said that day we would never be waiting anything like this again for a win. This has been proven in the last 2 seasons since, we do not fear going there at all Same when we got our first win against Celtic in 10 years back in December I said then too it wont be another 10 years and definetly do not think it will
  3. Unless JBA ends up at Celtic he could potentially end up there. The only team other than them that might take a look is Hearts.
  4. Today
  5. Think it's probably the right time to move on, he's a good player and been a good servant for us and I assume will end up bottom half championship or at a promotion chasing league 1 side.
  6. That was massive, and for all the disappointment about dropped points early in the season, that pain and frustration was a necessary learning experience to be able to do what we did on Sunday. No panic, no abandoning the system or reverting to bad habits. Stick to plan and look to find the winning goal. I read Kris Boyd saying at 2 - 2, given who they were playing, Rangers should have shut up shop and been content with the draw because we were always likely to get a 3rd. Changed days.
  7. The mental aspect of it is also great. To go there, be pegged back, survive the onslaught and the crowd, then go up the park and win the game will bring a resilience. We have utterly dominated and wiped the floor with both the OF for complete halves. Ideally you'd do it for the 90, but they are always going to have a period of control in games. Its more of the incremental mindset change.
  8. I’m still amazed we never got screwed by the officiating team. Definitely helps when you don’t get the dodgy calls against you.
  9. 48 hrs later and I am still buzzing!! The joy of football!
  10. Only one objection to the proposed plans. The Sun however, covers it in depth and makes an issue of it.
  11. Always been a big Slatts and will be sorry to see him go. Although we didn't get to see it often, Miller-Spittal-Slattery was a great combo. Who knew we end up with an even better one? I'm assuming he's not off to St Mirren.
  12. Be really disappointed to see Slattery go. He has been a real favourite of mine since he arrived. Such a technically gifted footballer. So glad he got the chance to shine in a team (and with a manager) that he could really flourish with. He has had his difficult times with the injury and obviously with his mum passing, but the fact he has turned it around twice and hit the heights again, speaks a lot for his character. I hope he gets the send off he deserves and wish him well for the future. He has earned it.
  13. Talk on P & B that Paul McGinn let slip that Callum Slattery is away at the end of the season. If proved true, that won't surprise anyone. He has his faults, but has been a good player and servant for us, intended or not. I wouldn't usually say this of a good player but I hope he does move on, for his own sake. He's a marked man and needs a fresh start.
  14. It was quite surrreal to be the only Motherwell fan in a bar with a fair few Celtic & Rangers fans and the odd Jambo and be the only one trying not to know the score, but failing miserably as one side or the other would give the game away as their phones vibrated to reveal the latest score update! Thankfully it went the right way and my evening ended up being a very pleasurable one!
  15. I had the radio commentary on, from half time I was outside, folding towels, washed the dishes, brushed the cats, tried to solve world hunger and anything else to distract me from the obvious comeback, came back in to do a rubik's cube and heard "Ward to O'Donnell.... Longeloooooooooooo!" I thought our bubble had burst and we'd shit the bed as we seem to have done so often in the past. What a season this has been, let's hope it gets better.
  16. Yesterday
  17. Finally getting the chance to visit the Falkirk Stadium, so hoping for a positive result. Falkirk are the only team that seem to have had our number this season, despite not being wildly better than us in any of the games. Pretty sure Jens will want to right that, so hoping for a tactical switch that will blow even John McGlynn's brain!
  18. Was away in Mull all weekend so didnt see any of the game bar the limited SPFL highlights on Youtube. Felt sure we had blown it again when we surrendered another 2 goal lead so was ecstatic to get notification of an injury time winner! Great to put an end to the losing streak and to do it there is particularly pleasing! Hoping Welsh's injury isnt too serious. He didnt appear to be in too much pain during the post goal / post match celebrations!
  19. Yep 💯 percent , we are in a very good place right now compared with recent seasons
  20. The dropping points was us learning the new system and mentality required. All part of the learning process that allowed us to stay positive and score a 90th minute winner. If we can build on that, there could be a great season in store next time too.
  21. Aberdeen fan I work with also saying he was celebrating our winner , his wife asked him why and he said well it is Rangers Also mentioned it is definitely disappointing dropping so many earlier in the season or we could still be in with a shout of a trophy But who cares , great 3 points and don't think we have ever won at Ibrox 3 seasons in a row in 140 years of history so well done everyone
  22. It was, after our goal it was 91 minutes before the ‘seven’ started and there was a two minute stoppage during that time. Ref got it spot on.
  23. Aye, but what about Kevin Clancy's face after Fadinger's.
  24. I was actually ok with ref playing 10 mins or at least o thought it was fair
