We were, honest. Players stopped making space for themselves off the ball to recieve passes and St Mirren got stuck in and upped the tempo. Hopefully we don't flag again after 30 mins on Wednesday will be very interesting. Playing and travelling every 3 days has taken its toll. Checked the caps lock off this time.

Eeeh , Pardon .
-
Have previously said game should have been wrapped up well before we tired after 30 minutes doesn’t mean u fall apart though
-
Great goal
- Today

WHY YOU SHOUTING? 🤣🤣
-
I don’t think we were knackered physically.
-
Exactly! We are coasting and easily running the game…. Because players are focused and doing the right things. Guess what! Once you stop doing those things your’e not going to be coasting or running the game. So definitely a mental lapse (fatigue) more than physical. I think AJ has mentioned this previously about our attitude after scoring goals.
-
WE WERE KNACKERED AFTER 30 MINS. PLAYING AGAINST A FRESH TEAM. GET REAL.
-
I don't think I've overlooked the points you're making here.
-
Do agree with this sometimes feel the game seems that easy for us at times that we get overconfident….stop doing the right things, moving the ball right etc we were absolutely brilliant to watch for 30 minutes & then u start losing the ball, they start pressing better & ur 3-2 down maswanise in particular for me lost the ball in areas that hurt us yesterday

I'm guessing he's talking about the first half when JT skipped past 2 or 3 defenders and then shot wide rather than passing. I thought he was entitled to shoot after that run, but I saw a few comments saying he was selfish.
-
I don't think anybody has. Our levels dropped for the last 15 minutes of the first half. I wasn't too surprised, as I think the Thursday game caught up with a few players. As Alfred has said, the biggest challenge with the Sun - Thu - Sun is that players get almost no time to train together between travel and rest days. Once they get a few more weeks under their belt I'm sure the decision making will improve. The positive was that we had a strong bench and the subs helped us keep going for a point.
-
I wasn't at the game, so could you elaborate?
-
Agree with the above comments but let not also overlook the incompetent defending, selfish play and poor game management that allowed them back into the game.
-
Not a paragraph i see often 🤣🤣, cheers bud
-
Thanks Grizzly. By the way, I love your humorous remarks so don’t stop because it brightens up some of the tedium that’s posted on here and I include myself in that.

Let’s not allow something as inconvenient as the laws of the game to get in the way of SFA officials doing their jobs properly.

And to clear up any doubt, here's the image from the Sportscene discussion showing how Gogic is impacting JT's attempt to get the rebound.
-
I would read that as impacting the actual penalty kick, which it didn’t. An answer from IFAB is: The penalty kick is retaken only if the encroachment clearly impacted on the kicker or the ball rebounds into play and the encroaching player then plays the ball or challenges an opponent for the ball and prevents the opponents from scoring, attempting to score or creating a goal-scoring opportunity. Gogic clearly impacted Maswanhise collecting the rebound so it’s the second part that is relevant.
-
I like the away jersey but it would be better with the white shorts from the home kit and vice-versa. I do agree that it’s pointless as a ‘change’ kit because the sides we would normally change against we can’t really wear it. I would expect us to wear our first kit away against Aberdeen and Hearts but I’ve seen us wear our claret away kits against Dundee Utd in the past. We do have the option of the anniversary kit though.
-
That's a good point actually. The law, as now written , simply says " the encroachment clearly impacted on the kicker". FIFA failed to clarify do they mean impacted him kicking the ball?

Ab umd ssstssss. 🤣🤣
