I was way off with my dates re Aarhus. We played them in friendlies in 1974 and 1975, according to 'Well Again. We won 1-0 and 3-0.
-
Was also a song by Crosby Stills Nash and Young.........AAR....HUS. is a very very very fine house. TAXIIIIIII
-
We're not that old. Hope we don't ship too many goals.
-
IIRC the Ancell babes played Aarhus in a floodlight friendly around the time we were whacking Flamengo and Bahia but i can't remember the score.
-
I've got a sinking feeling about all this.
-
Hopefully our defence won't be all at sea!

Jutland ? Could be a bit of a battle then * One for the older readers

One of life’s good guys. Like we have, he would’ve loved the season past and not missed a minute.

numpty started following 2026-27 Pre Season and Andy P
-
Andy P was a central figure to this forum and today marks 5 years since his passing, its ironic that the World Cup starts today. I had the pleasure of getting to Andy P well by doing the MFC Podcast with him and Andy Ross, he always found positives even during sone shit times. I would love to hear Andy P thoughts on the season just passed and his views on Jens and Co and I guarantee he would be on his way to America. 5 years passed so quick and I still think of him often. Gone but he will always be part of my thoughts.

"The club will not comment any further on this process" confirms that our recruitment process runs tighter than a major crime investigation.
-
Taken from an official article posted elsewhere by Wellfan. "Ahead of the squad returning for day one of pre-season, we can confirm we will be travelling for a seven-day camp in Denmark. The squad will depart on Monday 29 June and will return on Monday 6 July."
-
“We also want to confirm that our recruitment process to appoint a new manager is at an advanced stage. The club will not comment any further on this process.” https://www.motherwellfc.co.uk/2026/06/10/pre-season-schedule/

Could be. Or could be AGF wanted a sexy possession based football team to practice with ahead of their Euro matches.
-
Maybe this can be a pattern, where the departing manager sets up a friendly with a team from their home country, and leaves us a nice parting gift in a Fadinger like signing.
-
Either arranged by our departed Dane or a sign of things to come?
-
Our first pre season bounce game has been announced. Its against AGF of Aarhus in Jutland. 5th of July for those intending to travel.

We had similar vids for JT and Watt recently, and I'm sure we'll get Ibi's highlights along to the Benny Hill theme soon enough.

Seems like a pro mo video to show how much we value him, basically saying you better be willing to pay top dollar for him to anybody wanting him.

I was more thinking about the growing fanbase for the English Premiership.

Steven Saunders becomes Albion Rovers manager.

In answer to your question I played professional table tennis (recently retired) I had family in Rome so moved here as at that time was easier to get around continental Europe and to travel to SE Asia than being based in Scotland. All of your points are very valid. Udine is a beautiful city but can be very cold and wet in the Winter. Very different than being in Bologna for example. Next year is a big season for him - probably a make or break season in terms of pushing on at Udinese.

Correct, its always winter in Scotland, i think summer is a Saturday this year.
