  1. Past hour
  2. I haven't seen many Macron 2025-26 examples yet, but how about this in amber, with the middle panel as the claret "hoop"?
  3. I like Gordon and Casey and Id keep them both
  4. Even beside Gordon, Casey has struggled. As I have said before, I can see the attributes Casey brings to the team. He is full of energy and great at disrupting things further up the field, and can be a wrecking machine in the oppositon box at set pieces. Defensively, he is often out of position, loses his man regularly, and puts us back under pressure with his poor passing - either passing to the opposition, or making the wrong choice of team mate. It's not like we haven't given our central defenders an opportunity to prove themselves over the past few seasons. They have just continuously failed to deliver. I'm sure it gets inside their head too, and they all might benefit from a fresh start at a new club as much as we'd benefit from a new central unit. I honestly can't think of any combination I see line up on a Saturday and think "that looks solid"
  5. "this season the results of the team have not met the standards expected by the club." backs that up. I see Hearts have given McInnes a 4 year deal. That will be an expensive pay-off for them next summer.
  6. I'm with Weeyin on this - we need to get our central defence and wing backs sorted out. I'd also like to add a midfield destroyer to protect and shield the defence.
  7. We started the season with McGinn Gordon and Casey as the back 3 and looked solid but then injuries cut that short and didn’t allow us to play it for very long at all. I wonder if it would have lasted or would have lapsed into Swiss cheese after a few more games.
  8. Today
  9. I still have my hair but it’s all in my nose and ears now 😳
  10. I hated this year's home strip when I first saw it, but by the end of the season I actually quite liked it. Mind you, I also thought that the liberal sprinkling of harlequin tops among the support on Saturday looked quite good too, so maybe I'm just losing my aesthetic faculties as I age. Oh well, at least I still have my hair.
  11. No it's true, trust me 🤣🤣🤣🤣
  12. Agree re SOD. He had a nightmare first half although like the rest he improved second half. But no way can he be a first choice next season. Casey does have his faults but he is streets ahead of Blaney and Balmer and is no worse than Gordon who appears to get an easy ride from the fans. Folk appear to have forgotten how poor Gordon was before his head injury. Sluggish, poor distribution and decision making questionable. Rash at times. We need to come up with a central pairing that actually gel as a pair in a back four and lately Casey has been nowhere near as poor as he was for a spell earlier in the season. On recent evidence we have seen that Katroumbis and Seddon can do a decent job at full back and I still have hopes that Wilson has something to contribute. So that should help the central defence issue. Just unearth the correct pairing and play a defensive midfielder that actually provides some protection. Casey was one of our best players against Kilmarnock, even playing alongside SOD. With the correct partner I believe he has something to offer. Might not matter though if the Hearts rumour from January is accurate.
  13. No doubt we’ll find out within the next month what our 25/26 effort will look like. Is it too much to ask for a simple design without any unnecessary panels or ‘throwbacks’ to some bonkers design from the 80s or 90s?
  14. Moses has shown on various occasions that there is a player in there somewhere. Just needs a manager to unlock it on a more regular basis. He's our pound shop Darwin Núñez.
  15. SODs is murder at right back too. Terrible in any position.
  16. Absolutely no surprise. He knew it was coming, given his very public outbursts in recent weeks. They are a basket case of a club with ideas above their station.
  17. Agreed - they played some decent stuff this season and were let down by some ropy defending. If someone sorts out that defence over the summer they'd be well in the mix for a top 6.
  18. Of course he is. He's never a central defender in a million years and only got wedged in there because we had zero other options. Casey on the other hand is supposed to be an actual central defender and has been responsible for shipping goals along with Blaney and even Gordon since he arrived. That's why we need a rebuild of the entire central defence. I promise now that I'm not going to mention a complete defensive rebuild again until the League Cup group stages.
  19. I might be in the minority but I thought he was doing a good job, he’s signed some decent players and they play quite an attacking style. They also lost MCcowan and Cameron went a bit off form and they were victims of some shocking decisions but at no point did I think they’d go down. If anything I was surprised they didn’t make the top 6. not unless there’s an underhand thing going in with him going to hearts with his old mate.
  20. That's crazy - hadn't seen news of that.
  21. Went with Seddon, solid all game. Thought Balcombe could maybe have done better for their goal, otherwise he would have been my man of the match.
  22. That's just ridiculous. It's been a poor season for them of course but he kept them up for two years, which isn't at all easy.
  23. Dundee printed their GTF list earlier....Docherty sacked
  24. I think Turnbull and Campbell were a bit of a double act like Pettigrew and Graham. They just weren't as good as solo artists
  25. I think the 31st of May is the official contract end date for the players.
