Not a great result but not a bad one. It still keeps us in the hunt for a top 6 place. If we want to achieve that though we need to convert draws into wins and source a striker next month. Draws on the road are fine as long as you win the home games.

As a generalisation, typical of United fans.

I thought Slattery gave the ball away a lot today, but he was always available to take it again and never hid. Not his best day at the office, but he was in the same boat as a number of others. Fadinger for example started very poorly, although he came onto a game and put himself about a bit defensively. I do agree though, Slattery isnt at the level he was at last season or at the start of this one. It does look as if his fitness has gone back a little bit. Not sure if thats lack of game time or lifestyle choices. Hopefully he can back to his early season levels as we go into the new year.

Yup, needs to up game as plenty options available. Still a key player and on his day we know what he can produce

Said in jest I know but 80% is low for us we are generally 84/85%. -

I'm in two minds , sort of happy with the point but by fuck Utd are utter shite that's two points dropped. -

He was the poorest on the team today. He's back to the way he was playing before his long term injury involved in unnecessary fouls and passing was shocking. -

Utd were playing to not get beat and sneak a goal against us. We were at least trying to win the game but our touch and passing were below par today. However, it’s good to not get beaten when you have an off day. I’m hoping we will play better next week and conditions will be conducive to good football. We know that we are not going to play great every week so we can’t be too hard on the players when they have an off day. A win next week against Dundee would be good to set us up for the two old firm games coming up
-
No real stand out today. Loads of ok performances. Coulda picked McGinn, Watt, Fadinger, Just. Went for Johnny K just because he was solid again playing out of position.
-
Thought the wind spoiled that today. Or at least stopped us playing our football. Loads of "nearly" passes with a lot of things just not quite coming off. I still thought we were the better team in both halves and at least tried to get the ball down and play. Thought United played for longer balls and set pieces. Good to get a 5th clean sheet on the bounce and nudge the unbeaten run upnto 9 but disappointing not to sneak it at the end. 3 points next week is a must.

Take a point at Tannadice. Teams doing us proud👏
-
At least he was on the end of something in the box. Unlike Hendry who does all his work outside the box. These guys would probably do alot better with a partner. But as we dont play that formation they are going to struggle. They do contribute but its an area where we can and hope to improve.
-
I see hale is still playing for ross co...they are in free fall, 5 ex well players in team too, some players who were steady for us too, e.g Gallagher, Carson
-
NEW STRIKER PLEASE. We finally put a good ball into the box at the end and, once again, our nearly-man fluffed it.
-
As long as we keep picking up points..
-
Goodwin watching a different game as well i see. His comment "It wasn't as if Motherwell had lots of possession" is baffling. 70% is not alot then?? we were never in danger of losing that and were the team on front foot although we were abit powderpuff.
-
Hope you didn’t bet your wages on it, Ally. Hopefully we’ll get 15 points out of it.
-
I said beforehand that away from home I’d happily take a draw, especially if it came with another clean sheet. Add a competent striker in January and we’ll start turning these draws into wins.
-
I’ve just been so impressed with how McGinn has done this season. I was more than dubious he could play the way JBA wants and let’s face it he’s the elder statesman of the team and not getting any younger. his first few games were a bit iffy but he’s been excellent since and reliable and has played a massive role in the current run of clean sheets. Fadinger was excellent too but I’ve plumped for McGinn

Maybe one or two had to many shandies at the night out.
-
only 80% is shocking, the teams slacking and need a kick up the arse - we had 93% the other week! On a serious note another point and another clean sheet away from home ain’t that bad.
-
9 undefeated in league and 5 clean sheets in a row. We still have room for improvement but we are going in the right direction.
-
Changed days. Away from home 70% possession, 13 shots, clean sheet, a point and overall it’s disappointing for us. Team didnt play well. Few players were off. We certainly are on a different level now. Good to see us get 5 clean sheets in a row and a point from Tannadice is decent. Hopefully back to winning ways next week.

Point is better than nothing so i am happy with that. Just dont know where to goals are going to come from with our main threat being away. Good stuff though getting used to these clean sheets lol.
