  1. Past hour
  2. My view is that he could have stayed at Motherwell and didn't. I do get that he was likely offered more wages to go but I can't see this happening
  3. Yep. The club appear to have invested wisely. The unfortunate side is that these players probably won't hang around for long but at least we should see some decent money coming in.
  4. Bailey Rice transfer wont benefit us one bit if he and his agent had any sense go Ayr or Partick type team to a get game time week in week out if he is good enough. We need some defence signings now or its really going to be Kevin Keegan football for the rest of the season which wouldnt be a bad thing least we shall be entertained. Not going to lie but this is turning into the one of the best transfer windows for a good number of years.Longelo keeps this up and we are already looking at a seven figure digit value love watching him play .Longelo and Just ooze class.
  5. Today
  6. At the moment he’s definitely not the type of player to benefit us. From what I’ve seen and speaking to normal rangers fans I know they feel Rangers have destroyed him and his confidence. He’s also cursed with the Lennon miller comparison constantly which is a weight to carry for a young player. (Not that i feel sorry for him as that’s on him and his father) unless he’s coming to us permanently …. Even then I’m not sure…I see zero point in a loan deal where this will only really benefit rangers and potentially Rice.
  7. I know. We can never just sit back relax and enjoy us playing well. We just keep on waiting to collapse and be disappointed. I mean we have gone 9 games unbeaten and deservedly so. We know we will loose at some point and that will definitely be disappointing but please don’t let it be against SK’s team!! I really, really hope we give them a thumping and strike a victory for playing good football over dull negative kick and hope stuff that has been the bane of Scottish football for so many years now.
  8. Haven’t seen him at all and so have no idea if he’s the type of player that would benefit us or not. Like most people are saying, regardless of how good Rice is, I’d much rather use our resources to get a starting centre back.
  9. I'm hearing Thier fans not to bothered if he does or not. Don't think they overly impressed.
  10. Thank God, I thought you were going to say grease , if your singing is as bad as your jokes Travolta has nothing to worry about.
  11. According to today's BBC gossip Rangers want Rice to sign a new contract before they allow him to go out on Loan Rangers want midfielder Bailey Rice, 18, to sign a new deal before sending him out on loan. (Herald - subscription required)
  12. I'm trying to get rid of a few Baily Rice from under my decking. Ideas welcome.
  13. I thought I'd seen every disappointment I could have in my many years following them but even I was surprised at losing a 3-0 lead Tynecastle in 25 mins.
  14. I like Ward. You can see he's vocal and an organiser of the defense and he's also comfortable with the ball at his feet. My only issue is he reminds me very much of Kelly. Not the tallest, weak at cross balls and generally reluctant to come off his line. Ox was flying before his last injury. I'd be more than happy to see him back between sticks.
  15. A pessimistic attitude, without going full blown MJC is the best solution for following Motherwell, it means you never get disappointed 😃
  16. I think we have one already when McGhee is match fit, given he can allegedly play at centre half, time will tell.
  17. I see George Long (2015 play-off keeper) has just moved from Norwich to Southampton on loan. I thought he was down in the lower reaches these days. Good to hear and will done him!
  18. I don't think we'll be looking for another goalie tbh. We would recall Matty if we wanted another option surely? Also think for all the errors on Saturday Ward made a couple of very decent saves to keep us from losing
  19. 3 Yr deal and certainly a lot of potential. I wonder if we will be looking to move Halliday on as chances seem more limited
  20. Likewise as a fan but fortunately JBA hasn’t shown any sign of that type of thinking and seems to be instilling that belief in the players. I think all of them will want to ‘make amends’ for not winning at Hearts - not just one player. oh and I doubt they’ll give a flying f about Kettlewell.
  21. A centre-half next please.
  22. I’d love to see a big crowd this weekend and plenty of colour on show. I know I’m dragging a few people to fir park who don’t normally attend regularly and are looking forward to it. really looking forward to this……. That could be the kiss of death right enough.
  23. This game give me the fear.... 1. We are playing great stuff 2. We need a win to round off all the positives 3. We have been getting unprecedented good comment from the media 4. We will probably get a bigger than normal home support. 5. Every Motherwell fan will be desperate to see us put one over "Eddie Munster" 6. Expectation is high I said to my mates all week we wouldn't lose at Tynecastle having seen Hearts I wasn't impressed. However I just have a feeling of foreboding that Kilmarnock will piss on our parade. Hopefully not 🤞
