Pretty sure Bruno Fernandez joined Udinese when he was 18 and has done alright with career moves. Seems like a decent squadra for Lennon to develop at without immediate pressure of some of the bigger Italian clubs.
-
Five year contract I see. So if he does well, quite possible he'll move on for a fee - which is good for us.
-
I'll resist going back to the 1960s as that would complicate matters considerably and make my choice more difficult. But here's my selection: Ruddy Nijholt McVie McCart Wark Davidson O'Donnell McLaren Cooper Pettigrew Graham Subs: McRae W Watson Van der Gaag Kipre MacKinnon Russell Millar Coyne

I've finally stopped crying - god help me when Slats leaves (kinda joking, wine will see me through) Maybe we could have a steelmenonline trip to Italy - could you imagine it 🤣
-
Mrs Grizzly can't understand why I keep suggesting a city break in Italy 🤣🤣
-
Definitely, it makes us such an attractive option and hopefully the best youngsters are advised properly to choose the well
-
Well done to young Lennon and I really hope he does well in Italy. Certainly the world is at his feet. He certainly left with a great deal of class. A real role model for young players and it also speaks volumes for our Academy. Sometimes it pays a promising youngster to stay with us for an extra year or perhaps two, before moving onto to bigger things. I've never been one to fawn over departed players but I'll be keeping an eye open for him.
-
We kind of already are. However, no amount of investment or history will stop some young players and their agents from being idiots.

Congratulations Lennon Miller. It must take no small amount of courage to go to a European country without being able to speak the language at the tender age of 18. It would have been easy to settle for a British club with the comforts of home. For his bravery alone, I hope he is hugely successful and we can all be proud to say that he started at our wee club.
-
Watch you don't knock off your Motherwell bunnet patting yourself on the back.
-
What might help him settle is that Udinese are close to signing another Scot. Ross McCrorie. But I'm pretty sure Lennon will settle soon enough. Udinese have also signed other players for larger fees in the past few weeks so that might also ease any fan expectations.

What should the Club do with Lennon Miller transfer money
wunderwell replied to El Grew's topic in Club Chat
Not money orientated but we should now use this as establishing Motherwell as a pathway for all promising youngsters rather than choosing other clubs. -
He is good and I’m pretty sure he is still at the club. Not 100% as I’ve not really kept up to speed with what’s going on. So maybe we have a Miller 2.0 😂😂
-
Best of luck 🤞 Lennon Miller Great move for him , he will be welcomed back to Fir Park anytime in the future , been a pleasure to watch this guy It's the only way forward for a club like the Well , bringing on the home grown players and selling them on
-
No youre not 😂
-
There will be a lot of tribute videos of this lad Lennon Miller Magic Skills Goals and assists Motherwell and Scotland
-
All I can say is what a great move for a young and ambitious player. All the best for the future and hope you go on to great things
-
Apparently he has contacted Alexander Isak to give him tips on how to leave a club with a bit of class! 😁
-
Great player, great attitude and, equally important, had some great career advice from his dad.
-
Whoa whoa rewind that , this younger brother was he any good ? and have we got him signed up yet.
-
Sums young Lennon up, what a lovely interview
-
All the best lad
-
Apologies as I am the main culprit. Anyway I wish Lennon all the best and the way he has conducted himself has been admirable but a big thank you to his Dad also who has obviously be thinking of his career rather than the big bucks. Welcome back anytime Lennon
