  1. Past hour
  2. Any rumours about free agents? (I don't have the energy to watch any of the live window reporting)
  3. He actually looked decent in that terrible game yesterday.
  4. They saying it's a loan for season.
  5. Is he 6ft 3 ? seen him in real life and he seemed small gor a ch
  6. The deal for welsh is done according to sky sports
  7. If we've signed Welsh it's a fantastic piece of business for us young enough to develop if we can keep him fit.
  8. Today
  9. Can I borrow your specs? That is impressive counting 🤣🤣🤣🤣
  10. Watched highlights on YouTube, if ward starts next game it's last chance saloon, absolute embarrassing. I hate slating players as they are human like all of us but 3 of last 4 goals conceded his fault
  11. 75-76 we drew five league games in a row, lost one (against the worst team in the league) and then went on a run that saw us finish 4th and be conned out of the Scottish cup by corrupt masonic refereeing.
  12. Really have to win this one , great football or not we cant be drawing every single game An interesting statistic I seen earlier we also drew the first 4 games in 1995-1996 under big Eck, we went on a seriously bad run I remember that year then in true Motherwell style kept 7 clean sheets in a row 😂 Definetly were not playing as good as now though I do fancy us to get the long awaited league win in September though
  13. According to the way some folk go on, failing a medical is statutory for signing a contract
  14. Heard on Saturday, from a good source we had signed a centre half, but he failed the medical.
  15. They really dont. He was their MOTM yesterday, but most dont rate him, at Champions League Level at least. The CB equivalent of Greg Taylor in their eyes. That said, Id take Greg Taylor at Fir Park in a second, so its all relative.
  16. BBC report is quiet ambiguous says he’s on his way out but doesn’t mention if it’s permanent.
  17. Welsh will be decent with the ball at his feet which is potentially why we have gone for him. But my impression, and backed up by a Celtic supporting mate, is that he is a bit on the soft side physically and prone to injuries. In the absence of a better option, I guess he will need to do, but not one I will be getting delirious about. A left back is still required. So hopefully we have one more incoming.
  18. On a serious note I don’t see it being 4-4, though you never know. A draw is the most likely result though, it’s the best we’ll get from this one IMO.
  19. Scales is a special case , the plastics think hes the best central defender in the world , must be because hes Irish, thick cunts.
  20. Jba and our recruitment look at database stats. Must show decent stats when playing.
  21. I'd prefer a permanent move over a loan - not a fan of loans from clubs in the same division. I have no idea how good he is, but JBA is looking for a player that can fit into his system better than our current central defenders. You can argue whether that makes them a better player, or just a better fit.
  22. Beeb reporting it is a permanent move not a loan? Mind you it is the Beeb we are taking about
  23. Dont know much about him but plus point Welsh is 6ft 3 needing a wee bit of height at the back but i must admit still dont think its enough cover at the back. Hopefully we get a couple in and its been a good transfer window for us.
