There's on-street parking near the ground. Also a large Asda supermarket five minutes walk away, but there might be time restrictions or an online / phone payment option. If I'm down that way before Friday, I'll check and post. On the Station Hotel side of Larbert station (about 20 min walk) there is a huge free car park.

I have to say that in all the time AP has been at Fir park, albeit limited by injury I have seen nothing to convince me there's a player in their. Maybe if he get a regular run in the team that impression will change, but until then he is contributing nothing tbh.

Sadly McCowan's is long gone. Site now has a Tim Hortons and B&M store. As close to a Motherwell home game as I''ll ever get. Those travelling by train, the bar at the Station Hotel in Larbert is decent and they have a beer garden. There is a tiny wee bar in the main stand at the ground, but it really is tiny! Closest pub is the Talk of the Toon, a four minute walk away.

Very much so. We played some nice stuff in short spells, but didn't really use our pace to much effect. A lot of possession but little to no penetration until late on when Peterheed tired. A few flashes down the left early on with Manny though. Poor movement off the ball. We looked pretty toothless up front, but in fairness Sule was left isolated in the first half. I thought Just looked impressive but sat too deep. All that said, Peterheed made it difficult for us by putting 11 men behind the ball. They were always going to do that though.

Yes, this is something we picked up on last night. To be fair McGinn is never a central defender in a back 2. The midfield looks talented and pacy but soft and Ap Stam looked tiny and lightweight last night. We don't need to be a team of hammer throwers but we do require more physicality as we struggled to compete in 50/50s in much of the match last night.

I didn't think Matty had much, if anything, to do to be fair. his distributiuon was generally very good although he did cause a couple of heartstopping moments.
