How are you watching it?

I know it’s our first game and a friendly etc but defensively we look worryingly bad. Almost lost a comical goal there. See when we don’t have players at the back with good technique…. Do not …. Repeat not…. Fk about with it at the back with tippy tappy passes. Twente just look a much better side to be fair. anyway…. It’s a pre season game- I’ll not get too worked up.

It always is at this time of pre-season. We're in the run till you're knackered sessions. Actual football and tactics come a bit later.

20mins in and it’s rotten. We lost a poor defensive goal to a guy named Ricky Van Wolfswinkel. Nearly reason enough to turn it off. 34C is a nightmare though

For anyone who doesn’t know the game is live on the FCTwente YouTube channel, KO was 6pm. currently we’re 1-0 down and we missed what looked like a sitter and a half.

My Dutch colleagues tell me it's about 34C there today, so probably won't be seeing much high tempo football this evening.

Miller? I don’t think it’s odd at-all. He is still our player and until an offer is made, accepted and finalised then that will remain the case. An offer will come, I have no doubt of that, but I suspect it might not come until mid to late August and therefore I see no issue with him playing for us until then. He won’t still be a Motherwell player by the time the transfer window shuts regardless of how many times he starts between now and then.

Right enough, I forgot that connection. He’s Some size of a unit, he was certainly wolfing down his lunch at the Shanghai tea house, not the best pre season meal.

I'm not reading anything else into it but I do find it a bit odd he's starting tonight.

I actually see it as more of a 4-2-3-1, with the obvious back four, Watt and Miller, then Fadinger, Slattery and Maswanhise with AP up top. Could be completely wrong though!

Interesting statement mate hopefully it’s true. Rumour I heard is he’s looking to go to Germany, Austria or Italy in that order of preference but no bids from those countries as yet.
